This place is definitely five (5) stars in our book. The office/gift shop/store has a great variety of items and staff is friendly and helpful.

Our campsite was ample size, clean, had a picnic table and firepit. The sites were all pull thru and full hookups. The power pedestal had a nightlight and a place to wrap up extra cord. Sites were spaced out so that every campsite had an unobstructed view of the magnificent sunrise and sunsets. Streets were named and paved and pad was gravel and fairly level. It was quiet except for the occasional train whistle, which I personally love.

They have two nice, fenced dog parks and multiple stations with dog bags to pick up after your furry friends. It also had numerous bath houses, laundromat, and nice playground equipment.

It was a short walk on a paved trail to West Glacier Village that had charming shops, restaurants, post office, putt putt, excursions, and even a first aid clinic. You can drive and be at the entrance to the park in minutes and come back at the end of your sightseeing to the peaceful park and beautiful mountain views. Would highly recommend.

This lovely RV park is located conveniently close to Glacier NP and West Glacier Village. There is a nice walking/biking path from the park to the village. The park is well maintained with clean bathrooms, showers, and laundry facilities. Sites are spacious and include picnic tables and fire pits. The trees are not fully mature so there isn’t much shade now but once those fill in there will be more shade and privacy between sites, although it really didn’t bother us as most people camping here were courteous. Dog lovers rejoice - there is a cute dog park and lots of clean up stations throughout the park as well as lots of space to walk Fido. It’s a bit on the pricey side but for the convenience in location it’s worth it. We will definitely be back.

My parents, myself, and my husband shared one of the brand new cabins. They were absolutely perfect in every aspect — plenty of space for 4 people, the front patio was perfect for grilling or just straight relaxing. The paved walking path around the campground portion of this resort was so nice to walk each morning and night; and the view even from within the campground was stunning — mountains RIGHT there and it smells like fresh pine! There’s a small restaurant, bar, and general supplies store on site for any extras you may need/want. There’s also a store with camping gear and Glacier apparel. All aspects makes this location more than worth the stay, however, the best part was being less than 2mi from Glacier’s entrance. And there are TONS of walking and biking and biking paths within this resort. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for the best place to stay — stay HERE!

Pass this one by. While the location is great, the RV park is not. Extremely overpriced and they charge different prices to different customers. All the spaces are the same and the space next to mine was paying almost half of the rate I paid. Zero amenities, the dirt and weed areas between sites is unkept and some sites flood when it rains. The bath house closest to us has water damaged walls (cove base coming apart), hand soap dispenser hanging off the wall, and the same trash items were in the same place for days. Look at the KOA down Hwy 2, it’s beautiful and has a cafe, pool, and other amenities, nice kept landscaping and very welcoming, exactly the opposite of this place. The location is not worth the price when you basically only get a parking spot.

They literally double the price for a weekend night!! DOUBLE. I was seriously going to book this stay as a late summer tour of GNP. But during the reservation making the bill for 2 nights was over $400 for a pull through full hook up site....those rates are like hotel stays, where you at least get a pool and a free breakfast.

Great views from this RV park and close to the entrance you take to get to McDonald lake where there is a boat ramp that is perfect to launch your kayak and many paddle boards out on the lake.
This park is just outside the Glacier National Park, there are other parks further into National Park but staying here you also close to town where you can find a grocery store. You’re close to the West Glacier Village where there is a gas station, souvenir shop, store and a few other shops. The RV park has a nicely stocked store & a playground for kids. We found a bike trail from the RV part to the village to sit relax with a cup of coffee.
We got the pass (on line) to go to Many Glacier on the east side of the park and this side of the park is the scenic side, this is a 2 1/2-3 hour drive there and back. We used the middle road to return instead of returning the same way we came. We came across beautiful waterfalls and gorgeous Mt peaks.
The food inside the park is salads and hamburgers and ice cream shops. The shirts, sweatshirts all run small, I take an extra large and tried one and tried a 2X and that didn’t fit so I found a zip up sweatshirt in the men’s depart.
We found a place to eat outside the area called Glacier Highland, I had the trout and it was cook perfect and my husband had the Buffalo meatloaf, mashed potatoes & veggies. The veggies were good but the mashed potatoes were too gluten like, maybe overworked and the waitress was not clean on what you get, she said only one side but we both got two, mashers and veggies. No refills on drinks and it took awhile before anyone came to our table and they charge $10 for a small piece of pie.
We have stayed 5 days and 3-4 days is plenty of time to visit the area.

If we could go this RV park 10 Stars we would! It is well laid out, perfectly maintained, super clean and well managed by friendly helpful staff. we traveled over 3,000 mi to get here and had been on the road for 35 days before arriving. This is the best RV park we visited. This alone earns five stars. Here are the other five - my husband had a medical emergency on the first night of our stay. He had to be helicoptered to the closest hospital for emergency surgery. We only had three nights reserved. The park was full. without hesitation the staff arranged for us to stay through his recovery. The director of guest services reached out with an open offer to help with all the time we needed. This tells the story-they care!! Book your reservation you will not be disappointed.
We did not stay in their cabins but we talked to guest that were and they loved them. They are new cabins and look fantastic from the outside.

Location is great: just outside of the park and not on a big road. There is train noise but did not affect our stay. (I would assume majority properties around West Glacier will have train noise.)
The Cabin is new, clean and cute. It has everything we need (except hair dryer). Not luxury, but very charming. It is on the smaller side: still much roomier than a standard hotel room, as it does have a small separate bedroom with a Queen bed; the other room has a nice sofa bed. I definitely would like to stay here again if coming to visit the park.
Regarding sewage smell mentioned in other reviews: our cabin is near the office and it has not been raining when we were there, so we did not smell anything. (There is campfire smell, and we do not have problem with it.)

I wasn’t expecting to be wowed by this RV Park but I was indeed. The reviews all mentioned the newness and lack of trees and shrubbery but they failed to mention that it specifically enhances your views of these incredible mountains and forests. The spaces are so wide, with beautiful grassy areas in between and the campground is so child friendly but it is also amazingly quiet. The extensive play area is conveniently located away from the majority of the spots and it helps to maintain the peaceful atmosphere. Location, Location, Location- you are 5-10 minutes walk outside of the town of West Glacier with food and live entertainment available and less than 10 minutes to the park gate. Truly the best part of the stay is the service and cleanliness of the facility. The staff are terrifically friendly and the multiple bath houses and ground are impeccable. Do yourself a favor and stay at the West Glacier RV Park on your next visit. You’ll be glad you did.

We weren’t particularly pleased with the location.
We had expected perhaps some view of mountains or a river. However there was none. All we could see
was roads, parked cars, some garden in front of our cabins and RV trailer park directly behind our cabins.
We were three persons in two cabins for two nights, having paid 375 per cabin per night, we felt somewhat
overpriced for no view.
The cabins themselves are nice and new. Not luxurious but very sufficient. And conveniently located
near the park entrance. We wish the hotel would have provided some information when they sent us
our confirmation or even at the time of checkin. We had no idea we needed to buy tickets into the park
In order to go on the going to sun road. We booked from overseas and the hotel site, glacier park collection,
appears almost as if it is the official park site, and we are inside the park! Of course we now realize they are just a hotel website.
We arrived the parks gates about
3pm and were told we could only enter after 5 to go to going to sun road. We managed, but that involved
driving around and entering from the east side. Luckily being summer it was not yet dark even when we drove
back out. The glacier park is beautiful, especially going to sun road, and not to be missed!

I'm sure you will be able to hear the train in the cabins as well, but that noise really didn't bother us at all. We just got used to it. Overall it is a very nice park
