A throw back to Route 66, this property is an old motor inn. The breakfast is spartan but adequate for a bite before you strike out for the day. The staff is great - no complaints there. Our room was clean, efficient, and close to the Park entrance. We had a kitchenette so we could make lunches for the days...

Glad you enjoyed our rustic motel. We offer a lite breakfast during peak summer hours. We enjoy being so close to the park entrance. We look forward to you staying with us again.

The Vista Motel is in a beautiful and convenient location, only a mile or so from the west entrance of Glacier National Park. Accommodations are simple, but clean and well-kept, with historic value. The hotel appeared to be 1950s-era or so, with wood paneling and antique maps and pictures framed on the walls. There was no tv, phone, hair dryer...

Nice simple place. No T.V. no PHONE and on COMPUTER. And they even use real brass keys, instead of the plastic ones used in other motels, that sometimes don't work. Very personable owners. Very clean. Loved the railroad noise, to me it's a symphony. Took some photos of the trains. We were supposed to be there 4 nights, left after...

The Vista Motel looks like it dates from the 1940's or 1950's. Wood paneling inside the room, no tv or phone. But, the owners are very personable, and they recommended the Belton Restaurant nearby (wonderful place!). The room has a fan for summer and a ceramic heater in the wall for chilly weather. The location is just down the road...

The view is lovely, but it's hard to enjoy because of the noise. If you were any closer to the main road, you'd be roadkill. And if the thunder of trucks and cars weren't enough, the trains thundering by just yards away are enough to prompt a search for more ambien. The rooms are spartan at best--bring your own soap,...

My friend and I stayed at the Vista Motel at either end of a backpacking trip to Glacier National Park. The motel has a lot of nice little touches for a no-frills budget motel. The rooms are very clean and showers are stocked with a soap-shampoo-conditioner dispenser. The motel has a separate breakfast/reading room that features fresh-made muffins and coffee....

This motel is awesome. Very rustic and laid back, with a nice covered outdoor area that is perfect for watching the sunset on the mountains. If they added a jacuzzi, it would be heavenly. This place is perfect for those who don't need thrills (except jacuzzi thrills).

We stayed in Cabin 23. We arrived around midnight and the staff left our key taped to the door of the office. The cabin was perfect for our needs. A queen bed, room to set up our pack n' play, refrigerator/freezer, bathroom. The decor is outdated but we're sure you're probably going for the scenery in the park & not...

The location was great, just outside the park, but we felt the price was too high for what they offered, or didn't offer. There was no air conditioning in the room - we stayed in cabin 1 - they had 2 fans which didn't help much. The temperature was close to 90 F! The room was clean, and did have...
