This was my first ever stay at a KOA so I cant really compare it. But we really enjoyed our 8 nights here. We were in one of the smallest cabins, which is one room with beds. The cabin had a small microwave and a fridge. There was a heater as well which we used on a couple of the cool nights. The room had a few pegs for hanging stuff up, and a shelf between the full-sized bed and the bunk beds. There was also a shelf/table with a chair. The porch had a porch swing. There was a mirror in the cabin and an overhead light. I'm glad we brought an extension cord with us to turn one of the outlets into many, for charging misc stuff overnight. Also was glad we thought to bring a cord to act as an indoor clothesline during the day while we were out, to dry our swimsuits and towels. There are WiFi repeaters all over the place and the WiFi is best close to them, but we could get some spotty WiFi in our cabin. Same with cell service at the KOA - it worked but was a little spotty. The shower/bathroom building closest to us was very nice with great shower pressure and hot water. I used the laundry once and it was clean and the machines worked well. Staff was all very nice. We enjoyed the adult pool and hot tubs. We ate at the restaurant twice. The food was good but expensive and the menu was very small. The restaurant had a nice selection of local beer on tap. I thought the bed mattress was comfy enough. It got very quiet at night despite the KOA being full or nearly full. We had road construction between the KOA and the park, but it IS very close. Without the construction it is trivial to get over to the Apgar entrance. If we visit this part of the country again I would definitely try to stay here.

We stayed 15 nights at the West Glacier KOA and thoroughly enjoyed it. Yes it is a bit pricey but it is a beautiful park with great landscaping, a wide offering of amenities, and you can be in the Glacier National Park in less than 15 minutes! We liked it so much, we have already booked additional days in 2022.

The front of the park near the office is where all the action is with the pools, playground, café and ice cream shop. But the rv sites are nicely separated from it so you don’t necessarily experience all of the noise. They had singers, fly fishing demonstrations and many things to engage a family. It is a large park with beautiful views with a more “mature” section with thicker landscaping between the sites and the “newer” section with more space and grass between the pads. And the views from anywhere in the park were great.

As it is a large park, there is a lot of walking you can do including the nature walk. All together, it is roughly a mile around the outside of the park perimeter plus you have some additional walking space on the main road. If you have dogs, the walking options are excellent plus they have two dog parks with the one in the “newer” section is very large and both have grass covering them. We did not use the bath house but felt the cost of the laundry was a bit high. The utilities were good and had no issues. And be aware the WiFi is marginal at best (park was full most of the time we were there) and cellular was okay but this is clear on their website and materials plus you are in the wilderness. Unplug and enjoy!

In terms of the staff, the office/store staff were always personal and professional when I had contact with them. The maintenance crew always greeted me with a wave or hello and hats off to the younger workers/students who were an outstanding addition. Would definitely recommend this park.

We booked a deluxe cabin that slept 9. It had a loft, a bedroom with a queen bed, bunk room and a pull out couch with a private bathroom. It was very clean and the queen bed was comfy. The cabin was very clean.
It had a full size fridge and microwave. It did not have a stovetop or oven inside. It did have a propane grill and a propane burner on the deck....that was perfect for cooking on and they provide the propane at no cost. We had our own private fire pit and picnic table with a great view of the woods from our deck. I believe we paid $7 for a small bundle of wood for the fire pit that they were quick to deliver to our cabin. The wood burned great too not like some other places we stayed and had a hard time keeping the fire pit burning.

The laundry facility and community shower were a short walk from our cabin and we did have some of our party use the community shower.
The one thing about the cabins is that the hot water heater is the same size as an rv hot water heater so you have to wait awhile in between showers for the next person to have hot water.
The great thing about this KOA is that it is very close to GNP. It only took a few minutes to get to the entrance.
They have a restaurant on site...a little pricy and the menu didn't have any burgers on it but a little fancy with patio seating.
We also booked a private tour with GNP Red Bus Tour. They came right to the KOA to pick us up which was really nice.
The staff was wonderful and absolutely friendly and informative. They had a nice little gift shop with some cool souvenirs as well as a few grocery items in the store.
I absolutely would return to the KOA and book another Cabin. We had a great time and wish we were still there!

This KOA was gorgeous. We rented a camping cabin. The beds in those are never comfortable and all of the spots looked the same. The bathrooms had ceramic tile. A separate pool and hot tun for the adults and with great mountain views and paved paths with flowers. The little restaurant had just a hand full of things but it was really good and reasonably priced, with outside umbrella covered tables. They have a coffee and ice cream place as well. Super close to the west entrance. We would have stayed longer but there's not a whole lot to do on the wet side.

After 2 days of tent camping and no shower, this place was wonderful! We rented a cabin that had a bunk bed and full/queen bed. Staff members were friendly and helpful. The laundry facility was well maintained and the staff member on duty was helpful when one of the machines wasn't working. One drawback to this KOA resort is the prices. My husband and I felt like the prices for food were very high (can of pop at the cafe was around $4). I would recommend this location for group traveling and people with kids. Lots of fun to be had--if we would have realized this, we may have arrived earlier in the day!

This campground was very well maintained. Sprinklers come on at night to water the grass. The dog park was fantastic. It had a tunnel for the dogs to run in and was extremely clean. Our site was very comfortable for our 37 ft motorhome. We had a picnic table and a fire pit. It is located close to the west entrance to Glacier. They have an ice cream shop, restaurant, cabins, places to pitch tents, clean restrooms/showers and a laundromat. Although we didn't use it, the heated pool area was a hit for kids. Employees at the office were extremely helpful. I would stay here again!

This KOA is the best EVER!

Location is great - just outside the west entrance of the park. The landscaping and flowers are just beautiful. We appreciated the breakfast availability (they also serve dinner but we didn't try it).

The adult pool and hot tubs were our #1 favorite thing.

Our only complaint was the restroom cleaning times are not posted and more that once we walked to a restroom to find it was closed. I did bring this issue up with management and they listened to my concerns and said they understood and would address the situation with housekeeping. It's certainly not a big enough issue to detract from my rating.....this place is TRULY the best!

We loved this place! We booked a deluxe campsite which had a concrete patio, barbecue and table and chairs and it was immaculate! The bathrooms were slate tile w Individual showers and it was immaculate as well! They had two pools which was great because we were not traveling with young children so we went to the pool that was for adults only so it was very relaxing. The café served breakfast lunch and dinner and the food was good.
The Entire campground was family friendly and in a great location for hiking and rafting and just minutes from the entrance to glacier national Park.
We would definitely come back here again!
The entire staff at this KOA was very courteous and helpful.

A very beautiful and well maintained KOA. Made for a great base-camp for our time in Glacier NP. The only other KOA I have ever seen that is as nice is the Rushmore KOA in SD. We did not bring the dog on this trip, but they have a really nice dog park. We stayed in the Tucker Cabin for 4 nights in August 2020. The cabin was fantastic, private and clean! Wifi in the campground is pretty slow, and cell reception is not very good in the area either. However, it was nice to be mostly disconnected for a few days. Lots of trees for shade and great views of the mountains. The "kamp" store has lots of basic items and gift items. There is also an ice cream shop that is open in the evenings as well as a breakfast and dinner options right on sight. Get to breakfast early though, sometimes they have to close it early if too many people show up.

Staff was friendly and we enjoyed a quiet and peaceful stay. We will be back again. Lots of small cabins are available for consideration as well. There is also a family pool and separate adult pool.

Traveling on US 2 east from Seattle, we were fortunate to find an available space at this park. This is a great park. Well maintained, cafe, two pools, a couple of miles from the entrance to West Glacier. Better book far in advance. We were in a Class A motorhome. We found nothing negative about the park. A chef is available for steak or fish at the cafe. Events most nights. Highly recommend.
