We set out with three of us. Myself, my girlfriend and my mother. We got two cabins and it worked perfectly. Though we were exploring the park most of the day it was nice to unwind on the front porch. The rooms were cleaned each day and they even fixed out stove as at night it is pretty chilly. It was just a pilot light that was out and they fixed it in minutes. The internet is poor and you really need to go to the front office to get a good signal but you’re probably not there for the internet anyway;). If we ever make it back to Glacier I’d stay here again.

Silverwolf staff were personable and helpful. Location was perfect as we were going into Glacier National Park every day that we stayed at Silverwolf. The bed was comfortable, shower was hot, and the basket of breakfast/trail snacks that’s provided every morning is perfect for a morning in the park. The price was right as well.

Cabins are lovely. They are very clean and it is a wonderful atmosphere. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch playing cards every night. The family who owns the lodge are very nice. Their son was extremely helpful. The lodge has grills so you can cook outside especially nice during COVID to be able social distance and have a nice dinner outside. If you ask they have a basket of grilling tools that you can borrow. Excellent stay

This trip was a birthday present for my husband so I booked the deluxe cabin. The description was good and what sold me was 2 gas stove fireplaces and the glassed in porch. The fireplaces did not work. I was told that when I checked in. The porch, I was told,, could not be used as it get very hot in the daytime and very cold at night! All true I found out. The continental breakfast was a joke. We got 2 pieces of fruit, 3 single serve boxes of cereal, one pint of milk and one pint of OJ for2 people for 4 days!! never replenished. We went to the store and got our own stuff. No hairdryer or iron. I guess they figure you don't need to dry your hair or iron your clothes to go to the park! One of the bathroom sinks had the cold water turned off as it was broken. Luckily there were 2 sinks. It was cold at night so we had to use the electric heaters that were in some of the rooms. Not the main room though. The living room had 2 old recliners that were not clean and one had rips. The only other piece of furniture in the very large room was a small dining table and a loveseat. The small little cabins looked adorable and I know they had working gas stoves. Stick with one of them and come prepared with breakfast food you can microwave or go out for it!

I called the property owner to ask questions and he convinced me to book directly with him rather than going through Trip Advisor/Booking.com. Big mistake! When the confirmation came in the cancelation requirement was very different than shown on the Trip Advisor/Booking site. The confirmation contract said that cancellation was free only if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date. This is very misleading. So I canceled prior to the 60 days (because large portions of Glacier National Park will not open at all this year). Two weeks later the credit has still not been applied to our credit card. Before booking with this property, be sure you understand all the fine print regarding cancelation.

We made a reservation but, due to a death in the family, were unable to go. We contacted the owner a week in advance, explained the situation, and cancelled the reservation. Like others have said, this is where the problems began. The owner said he would refund our money IF he could fill the cabin during our reserved time. So far…..no money has been refunded and emails not returned. From what I can tell by all the reviews of this place, it’s nice enough if everything goes well. But you WILL encounter resistance and very little help if there are any complications. Be forewarned.

My husband and I thought we had carefully searched for the perfect adult accommodations to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We rented the Bed/Bath that appeared online to be a chalet/cabin. Upon arrival and check in we were escorted to the side of the main owners residence to a dark room that was attached to the main house. It was not a cabin at all, merely, yes a bed area with a bathroom. We were so disappointed and quite upset as this "room" was no more than someones remodeled sun room with no windows that opened other than an oddly place one at the bottom of a wall, that I assume put them in compliance with fire code. There was a narrow walkway to the door area that did not have a light accessible to turn on when arriving back in the dark. The walkway and door area was filthy. The door area I will add also has a half door with a sheet of some sort hanging there that covers the entry to the owners residence. Very creepy! My advice to the owners is to put an actual picture of the "room" online that shows that it is ATTACHED to the house if you intend on continuing renting it to people. My advice to other potential people looking to book, do not book here.

Not going to lie, was a little nervous about staying in a cabin. Quickly changed my mind. It was nice to get away from everything and everyone at the end of the day. Staff was very helpful, We ended up going to a couple restaurants in the area at their recommendation. I actually enjoyed my time there better than staying at the hotel for the next three nights. If I get to this area again, I will certainly look them up.

Checkin easy and friendly. Continental breakfast basket left in room daily. Property is very nice and inviting. Grounds are well kept. Cabin is bigger than expected. Everything one needs is there for you. Shower was nice. Each cabin includes a nice Gas Log fireplace for heat. (Big plus as we attempted a wooden stove for heat for a Glamping Under Canvas experience- Brutal). Cabins were well priced at just under $200 a night as Glamping Tents were @ $400-$500. We have travelled the world and have stayed in budget hotels, luxury hotels, and now Tents and Cabins. I have to say these cabins were the best place we have stayed and the price was right!

Andy, Donna & Donna were great! The cabins are fantastic & I could have stayed forever. Sleeping with the windows open was wonderful! Provided a small fridge, microwave, muffins, fresh fruit, cold cereal, coffee maker with coffee, tea bags, small bottle of OJ & also milk. WiFi weak but can live without it! Can go closer to office & it’s good if needed. Satellite TV does not have a news channel but that can be a good thing. The setting is beautiful but is close to the highway so there is some traffic noise but in the evening it pretty much stops after 9. Overall a very nice stay just too short!

Would not take the chance of booking there. I could potentially have lost $800 by booking there and then having to cancel.Credit card co had to intervene for me.

I believe so. We stayed at a number of places in our trip so some of the details are fading but all of the accommodations were great at Silverwolf.

How long will it take me to drive to Many Glacier Hotel from here ?
Answer from Jim C
Billings489 contributions105 helpful votes
If you were to start out from Silverwolf I would allow at least 2 hours for the drive to Many Hotel. It is located just inside the east side of the park so depending on traffic it would be a pretty long drive. If you drove outside of the park you would probably save some time on the south route but I have never gone that way just know the distance would be about the same and you wouldn't have to deal with park traffic
