The river float was excellent! We did the sunset float. We saw bald eagles, a moose, beaver and a beautiful sunset. Our guide, Mike, was super knowledgeable, personable and shared great stories. Such a memorable evening!

My kids (ages 10 and 11) and I booked Triangle X for a four-day horseback camping trip. We had an incredible experience. The guides (Nick, Bodie, and Donny) were expert horsemen and had extensive knowledge of the area. The horses were completely safe and fun to ride (I'm a lifelong rider). We ate great food despite being in the middle of the Bridger Teton National Forest. If you are looking for a horseback camping trip into the mountains, you can't do better than this!

Incredible location, great views, nice friendly staff, decent food. Really quite an incredible place, my daughter (13) had a five star week and loved it. We rode, did a float fly fishing trip on the snake river one day that was fantastic, Annie was our guide and she was great. However, there was one turd in the punch bowl.. The wrangler "Derek" was a bit of an anal retentive micro manager on rides, nice way of saying he was a bit of a Prick.... lectures about don't touch the horn of the saddle, ever. I got a 5 minute lecture on the first day regarding that, I had to say "ok, I got it" probably 7 times before he would let it go, kind of like listening to a Kamala Harris word salad... and then during the ride he would say things like "hey I saw that! don't touch the horn!"... He has good riding skills, just terrible at treating guests nicely. A real pain in the ass that took all the joy out of riding for two + days. Very unfortunate. We just walked and trotted for two whole days, the third day I was ready to "lope" which is a smooth run with your horse and a lot of fun. I've done it before at two previous dude ranches and it really is a lot of fun. Derek the wrangler was not interested in guest input, on day 3 he picked 5 or 6 riders who he thought were "ready" to go loping and the rest of us could just walk and trot on our horses.. totally weak.. Anyway, I turned in my horse and skipped that day as just walking was getting old. Maybe another approach would be "hey, we are going loping today, whoever wants to learn, please join me". But that was never a choice. The next day I joined with "Avery" the wrangler who had been leading the teen group and my daughter (they had been loping all week). I was one of four new riders in her group, she asked us "what would you like to do?" and we responded "we would like to lope on the ride, we've been wanting to do that all week". She said, "great, let me give you some instructions on positioning etc. and we'll get to it". What a breath of fresh air she was, 5 minutes later we were loping with our horses and having a wonderful time, we did a 3 hour ride and it was awesome, plenty of loping where it was safe, so much fun! She saved the trip as far as I'm concerned, big time kudo's to her! Summary - A really beautiful place and the staff is very nice, decent food too. We won't be returning though as I would not want to risk getting stuck with that Derek dude even for a minute, he takes too much away from a beautiful vacation and experience and there are many other options. Half my trip was great and the half with Derek was a waste of time.. kind of a bummer when you spend money and travel far and have someone like that ruining the experience. Everyone and everything else was great, just that one turd in the punchbowl... Not worth taking the chance again...…

We were guests of my wife’s parents for anniversary summer vacation. We had a wonderful time. The staff and Turner family really know how to do it! Cabins were great and food was as well! We rode the horses everyday. Most riding I’ve done! We booked a fishing trip down the Snake River and had the best guide - Nick is very knowledgeable and patient. He had my whole family catching trout with not a lot of experience with fly fishing from a drift boat. We loved it so much we booked Nick twice. Highly recommend Triangle X!

This has been the best vacation I've ever taken! The views, food, and horseback riding were on point. The Turner family is gracious and friendly. Their staff - wranglers, food service and housekeeping were extremely helpful and kind. The float ride was wonderful also. I look forward to staying there again in the future.

The ranch has an opening this 4th of July week. My husband and I enquired about booking it, but could not make their Sunday to Sunday schedule due to the death and funeral of my mother. We wanted to join them Monday night, by 10pm but they refused to pro-rate the weekly rate. Essentially, they want us to pay for 2 days of food, activities, and amenities that we would not even be there to partake in. One would think they would rather earn some revenue, 5 days for 2 people, than let a room go empty for 7 days.

Both the set-up (lodging, food, location, activity options) and staff (friendly, accommodating, responsive, knowledgeable, fun) were top notch! Couldn't have been happier with our stay (we were a bunch of long-time friends!)

I went on this trip with a girlfriend and we had the best time ever! Accommodations were nice clean and comfortable. They are a family run operation for over 100 years - this is the real deal . I love no TV and no phones to interrupt the peace and quiet.John and Kathy Turner gave us a little history after dinner one night.-it was so neat! I did not realize how stressed I was until i slowed down and took a look around. I just stared at the spectacular Tetons every day. They had the best beef tenderloin I’ve ever had in my life .food was very good .breakfast lunch and dinner. But best of all the horses were in great condition and well trained. they have rides for people who want to walk, trot & canter or really move out. They really try to give the best experience to each and every rider. We rode with many first time riders on the trip who did great. if you love to ride or just want to look at beautiful views you have to come here . They are fantastic stewards of conservation. We met the neatest people and made new friends. We are already scheduling next year to come back! We Learned that they have to fight every few years to keep the lease going with the park because big hotel chains are trying to move in and ruin this family legacy. They are the Only dude ranch in the country that has access to ride on parklands . We saw elk, deer, & bald eagles. Lexa and Ben were great wranglers.…
