A big group of us (twelve) stopped for lunch before going to the sand dunes. Our waitress was friendly and wonderful to have to deal with 12. The food was very good. Nice little store there too. Be sure to get dessert!
This facility is located about 4 miles from Great Sand Dunes National Park and offers an incredible view of the sand dune system for which the park is named. When the sun goes down the very low ambient light affords awesome stargazing.
