We were traveling as a family of 6 and needed two rooms. No adjoining rooms, just adjacent. No big deal. The elevator REAKED of cigarette smoke. The kids and I were coughing just going up 2 floors. We walk in room one, and it smells terrible. With kids complaining of stench, we investigate and discover that the AC unit has...

My fiancé and I took a spur of the moment overnight trip to Gatlinburg. We decided to stay here because it was fairly cheap. The room was ok, needed deeper cleaning. Bathroom was tiny. The beds were ok, also. Wifi service was poor. The only time I'll stay here again is if it's another overnight trip. Would not suggest it...

the view is one of the best up set looking over all of Gatlinburg with mountains in the background. the place is being redone and I was greeted greatly. walked to the desk at one am and needed new blankets due to a sick baby and they had them brought to my room and they changed them themselves. . ....

We checked in and didn't even stay. We drove 45 min to the next vacancy rather than stay here with our kids. It was unsafe, the chain lock on the room didn't latch because of it being busted in at some point. The room was damp and musty. The bathroom light didn't work. The parking lot felt unsafe. We walked...

The parking was lousy. I had to park on the other side of the motel. That's a long walk with a lot of luggage. It was noisy. The rooms were non-smoking which is great. It's the smoke that I had to walk through outside that was the problem. Should be non-smoking for the entire property. Internet wouldn't work. until I...

Bed were OK however the wifi was terrible. Had a lot of trouble connecting to it from my phone and laptop and even when it did connect, the speed was horrible. I stayed on the ground floor opposite to the pool. It is a very short walk to all the great shops/bakeries and attractions in gatlinburg, so that is good.

To us it seems that this former Howard Johnson is getting in decline. The rooms are very noisy (you can easily hear the television of your neighbours). The queen sized beds are too small for two regular persons, and housekeeping asks you of your room needs a cleanup, instead of doing it automatically. Although we chose it because of the...

We booked this room on the way to gatlinburg for a spur of the moment mini vacation with our 3 year old. First set of keys didn't work, after we had lugged all of our stuff up the hill to the second building behind the main building. I walked back down and was given a staff key and told this...

My boyfriend and I have never been to Gatlinburg, so we had not expectations of the city and decided to just come on a weekend trip. We got up early and drove from Atlanta and arrived around 10 am. At first sight I was pleased that the hotel was not run down since it was right at $99 a night....

we stayed 1 night. It was after midnight and we were exhausted. We got in our room . It was filthy, no bedding on one bed. Filthy bath. We called the front desk, she changed our room. The second room was also dirty but at least the bed was made. It had an odor, so we slept in our clothes.The...
