Oldest hotel in Gatlinburg that maintains its charm complete with creaky wood floors and halls decorated with the photos of the famous and obscure alike. The giant fireplaces were most welcome. The room was clean and well appointed. If you wish for all the modern...More
Stayed here for the first time. My family had stayed here previously. I will say I am a hotel snob but loved this quaint hotel. The bathroom was updated. We had an awesome view (room 114). The location to come in and out throughout the...More
The lobby was beautiful and the help pleasant. That's where it ends. The room was horrible. A building addition completly blocked any view (room 388). It was litterally ten feet away from the patio. The room smelled musty. The sink was stopped up. Mold in...More

Thank you so much for your review of the Historic Gatlinburg Inn. I am sorry your stay wasn't satisfactory. We've spent a great deal of time and money to ensure our guests have a comfortable, relaxing experience which includes new bedding, draperies, carpets and 42"...More
Stayed here with my wife for three nights. Room was VERY clean and comfortable. Staff was great and the free breakfast was very good with lots of choices. Great location also. All of downtown Gatlinburg right outside the doors. Will be back!

Breakfast is from 7am till 10 am... But many times I have gotten up a bit late and ran down at 9:45/ 9:50...The ladies are awesome and not about shutting it down promptly at 10.. If there are a few who go in, by no means do they turn them away. They just stop cooking and start cleanup... Its a be respectful of the ladies cooking and needing to go about their day just like we all do.. Enjoy it, take it to your room, but the atmosphere in the dining room is well worth the getting up for.. Wonderful people to meet from all over and for me I love to just visit and meet and enjoy everyone with my coffee after breakfast... great breakfast for sure....enjoy and good luck...safe travels..
