The three days we spent here were amongst the most exciting, memorable and moving I have ever had, anywhere! Words cannot do this experience justice. It is simply impossible not be moved to tears by the masterful, mesmerising, dramatic and true presentations on the battles...More

We had four nights here (family of four) and would recommend four nights, rather than the three, that seemed to be the norm. First the good stuff - of which there is a lot: Our guide for the 'flagship' tours was Alastair - he was...More

Hi, I read your review with great interest. I have a question about the rooms. My husband and I prefer more casual accomodations so I booked a guest house room, but I am having second thoughts. My main issue is that both of us have had serious health issues this year and wear out very quickly, especialy in terms of walking. Would it be better to book a lodge room if avaialbe? Thank you so much in advance

What would be suitable clothing and footwear for a two day stay and the tours at Fugitive's Lodge in September?

Casual, light clothes plus can't nifty shoe shoes. Swimsuit and a jacket as the weather is pretty changeable at this time of the year, and it can be chilly in the mornings and evenings. Oh and don't forget a hat!
