They lost our reservation making me feel like we could not stay there after driving 11 hours. I asked if there was a problem with us staying there considering the parking lot was emptyand he said no and assigned a room to us. We were there with a wedding group and we were all scattered throughout the hotel. Weird because...

Some friends and I traveled to Greensboro on a Saturday night for a girls night and made a reservation at the Battleground Inn. When I checked in the front desk clerk asked for my identification to confirm my booking. It wasn't until later in the afternoon when my girlfriends and I were about to leave for dinner that I realized...

The room was clean, but that was where it ended. The bedding is dated. We slept in what felt like Fred Flintstone's bed. It was hard as a rock. The pillows were flat. We would have watched TV but it did not work. I did see a USB type cable hanging down which I assume was to the TV, but...

To the people who's reviews said that this place was anything other than TERRIBLE, what kind of dump are you used to staying in?!? The Battleground Inn was overpriced considering the lack of amenities and visual appeal, old/outdated, dirty, and just downright CREEPY! The room they gave us didn't even have a flat screen TV. The coffee maker had an...

I used to stay here about once a month when I traveled to Greensboro for the past two years. It was not a terrible experience and I thought it was good value. The furnishings are worn and outdated. The power outlets are hard to find and not convenient. I would request a certain type room, but often it wouldn't be...

Hotel was clean and the personal were very friendly. I read some of the negative reviews but didn't find any of that when I stayed. Close to restaurants, downtown and most importantly Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.

Close to everything we wanted to be near, nice staff, not very pricey. Still needs further work, but clean and does have a continental breakfast until 9:30 AM should go to 10:00 AM. We requested that the bedspread not be placed on the bed during our stay and they made the bed and we did not have to be bothered with...

This place was recommended to us by Chip, the barista in Starbucks and we checked in before I read the reviews posted here. I would not have considered this place based on the reviews posted in Tripadvisor, but I didn't find it as bad as the reviews seems ti be. No, it isn't a particularly great place, but it was...

Ground floor room was wet, damp and freezing (it was winter). Staff could have cared less. Dirty, dark, and had an odor. This place needs an update. Someone named Lexi called my room at midnight (I didn't answer) and then proceeded to text pictures of herself in various stages of undress. Morning could not come soon enough for this horrible...

I was here for my cousins funeral and in mourning with my family. I was charged twice for my room. They keep telling me that it's a hold on room. Lies! They stole my money. Don't use your debt card here ever!!

“Call ahead to make sure they have your reservations. We made ours online, and they didn't report having it when we checked in. That was no problem, as it was a low-occupancy time. But at busier times, it might have been worrisome.”
