This tented camp is first class. The view from the camp is Mahayana Lake and the sunsets are stellar. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. They renovated in 2015 and so the infinity pool is stunning along with their new outdoor dining deck area. The food is delicious. Lots of great options for any dietary restrictions. This lodge is...

My boyfriend and I were just in Tanzania for 8 days, and stayed one night at Maramboi. As soon as we got there, we said "we wish we could stay here for all 8 days." The setting could not be more beautiful, and you are constantly surrounded by wildlife. We sat out on our private deck, and at the bar,...

I visited Maramboi Tented Camp during an office retreat, and the light-hearted mood of this outing was immediately made even more pleasant by the charming location of this resort, situated on the shore of Lake Manyara. The area surrounding the camp is brimming with herbivores such as giraffe, zebras and wildebeest. Silence during the night is almost total, bar a...

My sister and I live in Arusha, Tanzania and this is the place we take ALL our guests! The food, staff, and rooms are amazing! But the view is the best part - you feel like part of a safari. We've been to multiple Tanganyika Wilderness Camp sites and all of them are great venues. Highly recommend Maramboi for anyone...

Outstanding staff and service. Best infinity pool view ever overlooking lake and grazing wildebeest and zebra. Poolside cocktails and nibbles offered for free at night and strong breakfast buffet and nightly stir fry dinner with good choices And close to Tarangire entrance too.

What can I really say? It would do it a great injustice if I just describe by words. I can not fully do it without missing on a lot of things that is so great about this place. Everything is covered. Sights, sounds, Site, food, etc, and most of all the great staff that the place employs. Just Do It!!!

My wife and I stayed just for a night at Maramboi Tented Camp, but was enough to be amazed. The room is very cosy and at night, you'll sleep with the sound of animals passing thru. Amazing experience. The staff is very helpful and friendly, always with a smile. Priscila, our waiter and Elias, who cooks pasta at dinner, were...
