We arrived at Kikoti after an exhausting journey from the UK via Arusha. Unfortunately we only stayed one night. The staff were absolutely brilliant, very welcoming and efficient. The rooms exceeded our expectations and we left disappointed that we had not factored in a couple more nights to take advantage. Our three teenage sons enjoyed their stay also and particularly enjoyed...

We were part of a small tour group at Kikoti for two nights. First, the design of the camp and tents was astounding and creative. It was a very welcome surprise and by far our favorite lodge. As a hotel owner myself, I know how challenging it is to keep every aspect perfect, let alone when the facility is in...

We really didn't know what to expect from our safari lodging - anytime you hear the words "tented camp" it really makes you wonder. However, these rooms are more like tented lodges or chalets - they are absolutely amazing. It also felt like we were staying in the flinstones residence with all the cool furniture. We were thoroughly impressed. The...

The camp is located 10 minutes drive from Tarangire National Park, it was name after the Kikoti rock formation. The Staff was very welcoming, the chalet-tent warm and clean, very nicely done, including the bathroom. The food is good, but there is little in the plates... At night a Masai escorts you from and back to your room, where you...

"tented camp" may not give the right first impression online. You are in a tent in only the most liberal interpretation of the word. The "tents" are actually elevated, wood floored chalet's with cozy beds, hot shower, flush toilet and probably one of the best sunset views in Africa from the small porch. Our group of 12 stayed the night...

Absolutely the best experience I could have ever imagined! The service is impeccable and the tents are wonderful. I am not sure exactly what I was expecting as a camp but whatever it was Kikoti blew away and preconceived ideas of what my experience would be "camping" in the bush. You are greeted by such a wonderful and caring staff...

A wonderfully African experience in very comfortable and unigue tented chalets with morning tea and coffee delivered. Good buffet food and an authentic Tanzanian ambience. Your rooms are built seperately almost like having your own house let alone room with a good size verandah(one night a bush baby was hiding uder the chair on here!) Make sure this is on...

My wife and I stayed at the Kikoti Tented Camp in October and it exceeded our expectations. Our tented room was on the second floor and was beautifully furnished and plenty spacious. Even had an outside sitting area. We sprayed as we did at all camps we stayed at, but we never saw a mosquito either inside our tent or...

The camp has a beautiful location. It has thatched rooftops on the tents and an outdoor bar/ dining area. The tents are built up on stilts to take advantage of the view. The rooms are okay but definitely need some fixing up. While there are mosquito nets over the beds, you still need to wear mosquito repellant inside the tent....

We truly enjoyed our stay in this camp. We wre escorted from the main lodge area to our individual accomodations and spent a very comfortable night with something hopping around on the roof. The facilities were emaculate. The meals were very good. The one small problem was a low table with a pointed end that was a shin hammer point...
