The dogs are ferocious and scary. The guesthouse is just a bit too far from the town and yet does not offer the tranquility of a riverside guesthouse like those on the other side of Kampot's River, such as Naga. (The Hang Guesthouse is 15 minutes walking to/from town, which you cannot do at night bc it is pitch black...

This guesthouse is terrifying because of its 4 menacing big dogs which greet you every time you enter or want to leave the premises with ferocious barking and snarling!!! I was really afraid this morning having to leave early, no one around but just those beasts. Moreover, at 22$ per night a/c for a small room in the back with...

We stayed in Kampot at Hang guesthouse, 2 nights before heading back to Phnom Penh. Very friendly people. The place has a nice garden with benches and hammocks. Good for chilling out or if you have the green thumb...Rooms are big, clean and well equipped (TV, A/C and fan, hot shower, western style toilets, flip flops and towel also provided)....

We staid here during wet season and were the only guests, but that was no judgement of the quality of the place. We had a very nice private room with ac for $18. The bathroom is western style and was very clean. We even had a small TV on our room that showed the world cup games :). Internet signal...

A first rate family owned guest house. We stayed at this guest house for almost two weeks while we enjoyed the lovely town of Kampot. The owner and his family were very kind to us. They always had coffee for us in the morning and anything we needed during the day. Really helpful nice people. Excellent English. We stayed in...

We enjoyed our two nights in Kampot. This place was very pretty, nice and quiet and good value, and we took advantage of their free bikes to cycle round the town. There were lots of Mosquitos though, so wear plenty of Deet before bed (the nets had holes in). Would have been nice to have a fridge and a safe....

Just south of the town along the river, this delightful family-run guest house offers peace and quiet while still being an easy walk from the centre and all the restaurants etc. Nice rooms facing onto a pleasant garden and very friendly and helpful owners. A good value option in Kampot.

A fantastic guesthouse located on the river about 10mins walk from the centre of town, in a very relaxing garden setting. The room was spacious, very clean & comfortable. A great place to catch up on any sleep during the day or night. Comfortable hammocks out the front of each room for just chilling out. Bathroom is a good size...

We loved this place. The location was perfect - a little bit out of town and right across the road from the river so there is a lovely view from the outdoor area. It's only a 5 minute (at the most) bike ride. They provide free bikes. The fish market is a must-see and is just down the road. Heng...

We arrived from Phnom Penh with one of us having been very sick for 2 days. As promised, we were met at the bus stop by a complementary tuk tuk and then the manager of the guesthouse also arrived just to make sure all went well. This is an example of the care and consideration we were treated to during...
