We only came to use the pool, at first we were amazed that there was no one else was there but it soon became apparent why. The hotel did not have any adults running it whilst we were here a 8 year old and 10 year old girl were behind the reception who said it was 2 dollars to use...

I booked (and paid) the guesthouse 2 days before for 2 nights, after "appreciated" its rates, location & the Swimming pool... it would suppose to be a relaxing weekend with my friend, after having work for all week (both of us are working in the Hospitality sector, at Phnom Penh). However, we had a such bad surprise when we arrived....

Location is ok. Staff is not that friendly. Weird and annoying thing is that they want and even incist you to leave your key when you go out. One night when we came back there was just pile of keys at the reception desk. Not a single person was watching after them. Alla gates open etc... anybody can just pick...

I liked the room with A/C and private bathroom, hot water. We negotiated the price to $15 without a swimming pool. They do not speak any English. And do not clean the rooms. Otherwise fine and nice place.

You know there is something wrong when your first impressions are a line of people waiting at reception claiming the staff have somehow tried to take advantage of them . We initially thought nothing of it, checked in and were impressed with the room and pool for the price. However we were soon to learn the man claiming he was...

I came for the pool, but the owners open it up to the children of the neighborhood when they aren't in school. And that's great - for the kids. On Day 3 I bicycled over to the Mad Monkey and swam in their nice, relaxing pool for free! The room was just OK - there were mosquitoes in it, and...

We booked this place mainly for the pool. It is used as a public swimming area, as so is usually full of children (12 or so usually). It massively detracts from the whole reason we came to Kampot, which is to relax, as it is a peaceful quiet town. Also got next to no sleep due to the front yard...

Go and grab Room #6, in low-season, and you have one of Cambodia's bargains. A huge comfy, spotless serviced ensuite room, with a huge swimming pool outside, very friendly service, and guaranteed peace & quiet. We've stayed here before, and will do so again : & 9 days just recently, now we're back for another 5. Everything in Kampot is...

Nice, quiet, affordable guesthouse. We stayed 9 days (rainy season), the restaurant was not open for the low season but there is plenty of other options in Guesthouse street. A 5-6 min walk into town so transport not required, although if going back late at night a tuktuk might be best as there is little lighting along the way. The...

I stayed Ina single bed with fan. Very very clean and large with one of the cleanest bathrooms I've seen in Southeast Asia. Very quite though not so good for meeting other travellers. The staff was also super nice and helpful. For anyone looking for a nice sleep in a clean place this is it!
