The room and the property are lovely, the rooms are rustic but very clean, although I agree with the negative reviews about the service. Unfortunately we felt as though we were inconvenient visitors and thus, did not feel relaxed while staying on the property. This service was with both the staff and management, although I don't believe they mean to...

A beautiful resort on the river. Very quiet and relaxing place to stay and not to far from Kampot-city. I especially enjoyed the room, it had an ensuite open air bathroom with a little garden. Very friendly staff and good food.

Please don't be fooled by the pictures. I visited Champa lodge recently for a family holiday and was greatly disappointed. There was a very limited choice of drinks the food was unpleasant, expensive and not much choice either, my room was dirty and with what looked like fleas on the bed, which was extremely uncomfortable. Whilst in the room it...

We rent a room on the base floor with open bathroom in the fresh air. The room was very clean, the bathroom was very clean and like a dream as you can take a rainshower in the open air surrounded by plants. The beds were made up each day while the musquito nets were prepared for us. Very clean bed,...

This is a beautiful setting, right on the river with stunning views. Be aware that this is a very rustic place with few of the small luxuries that these days we take for granted. No ac. Wifi very limited and little protection against bugs and mozzies. The noise didnt worry me but the owner/manager did, we were made to feel...

Champa lodge has a lot going for it, it's in a beautiful setting with an incredible view of the river. The staff were lovely and accommodating, I easily felt we built a good relationship with them. That's it for the good unfortunately. My partner and I immediately upgraded to a more expensive room upon seeing the room we had initially...

On arrival to the resort received a cool welcome, it was pouring with rain with little help with our luggage across the garden, wasn’t sure who to speak to as it was not obvious. There was a mix up with the booking as I was sharing a room with a friend so needed twin beds, was shown an alternative room...

I always like to say only good things. But the toilet was mouldy, and shower too. The room was downstairs- and believe me you do not want that in monsoon season in Cambodia. The mosquito net had holes. I found myself apologising for inconvenience if I ever needed anything. I have 115 bites from not just mosquitoes but fleas in...

I usually also repsond to guest reviews in a positive way. However your allegation is a quite serious threath to our business and is a total lie. Actually the dispute started with the family on check out. As 2 of the 3 rooms you had booked were upgraded on your request. Apparently you had reserved the wrong room through Booking.com...

I cycle here regularly when staying in Kampot town. It is not far, well-signposted and you pass some quite nice scenery on the way although the road can get quite dusty during the dry season which is not favourable when motorbikes and cars are passing by. There is a lovely wooden seating area that overlooks the river which has great...

We stayed at the lodge for 4 nights and had an absolutely lovely time. Not just was the place stunning, also the people - Stephan, his wife, daughter and staff were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed chilling by the river - reading our books and enjoying the mesmerising views, but we also enjoyed our little kayak trip and...
