Mianzhou in Mianyang hotel is centrally located. The hotel has 300 rooms. In fast-moving China; the Mianzhou hotel seems to have come a bit out of date. The rooms have been freshly renovated but kept in heavy dark colors making a somber aspect. The light reflecting facade contributes to it. The bed is comfortable. I have stayed at this hotel on many occaisions. The hotel building is a little old, but still well maintaned. The service and meals are excellent. The hotel is located in the centre of the city, and good transport to other places is readily available. The train station is a short distance away.

This is also true of this hotel. The lobby and rooms have been largely renovated. It is also quite a bit more expensive. I...

The Mianzhou Hotel is a great and huge business hotel. The Rooms are OK. Some of the rooms are very dark because of "antiglare shields" on the windows. Be aware that in the hotel only few people speak good english. But the staff is very helpful and nice. The breakfast buffet is ok - the asian breakfast is good -...

This has traditionally been the nicest hotel in the city. My wife and I have stayed here several times. There are now some newer hotels that challenge this one, and I am tempted to check at least one of them out, but the location of this one in the center of Mianyang makes it convenient to everywhere else in this...

“Not as cheap as it used to be, but maybe still worth it to go for the best room they have, if you can afford it. They are eager to please you. If the room is not exactly to your liking, go to the front desk and they will show you another.”
