Stayed one night doing recon for an upcoming motorcycle club tour in December. Rooms were clean with good beds. Food was good. Resort has two pools and the larger one up top has a swim up bar which will come in handy. We booked 10 rooms for the upcoming ride.

Prior to arriving, we were concerned after reading some of the reviews on line but we couldn't have been happier, the room that we had, the swimming pools and the service throughout our stay were all excellent. Great value for money.

This was a great place to stay for a few days. It was simple, inexpensive and right on the beach. The breakfast was delicious with homemade bread and jam, boiled eggs and tea or coffee. Two swimming pools and snorkelling right off the beach in front of the hotel. I would go again in a second.

Mellow and spacious, right on the ocean, with an abundance of comfy lounge chairs and different kinds of seating, a nice menu, and a spa on site. Food and massage prices were definitely higher than places just a block away that are not on the ocean, but that's reasonable, because you're not just paying for the food, but for the...

The Amed Cafe Hotel took me back to the 70's, when I made my first visit to Bali. The pace was slower, the wait staff were relaxed and rooms and space were in grand proportions. Amed is three hours out of Bali and a mecca for divers. We asked the hotel to provide a taxi from the airport and the...

Unfortunately, there is not much good to say about our stay at Amed Café Hotel. We stayed in the Baruna View 2, down by the beach, so that is the only room I can say something about. But it was horrible. We had 4 nights there. We arrived in the afternoon, and noted that the toilet wouldn't flush. We told...

we went to Amed cafe's spa for a massage and were really pleased with the experience. Even my husband, who is not that into massages, was delighted with his. It's more expensive than the small massage salons in the village, but it makes for a luxury experience (still very cheap, though, +- 10€ for a one-hour massage)

We stayed for 4 nights in the Barung, which is the beach side of the road next to the dive shop. It is a wooden hut over 2 levels - outdoor sitting and bedroom upstairs, bathroom downstairs. The stairs are a bit rickety and the bathroom is dated, the shower rock wall is lovely. The bed was comfortable enough and...

What could be a lovely hotel is let down by poor management and lack of staff supervision. All the staff were charming ànd friendly but I experienced smelly slow drains that once "fixed" slowed down again next day; broken furniture just covered up and not fixed till 2nd request, a ceiling fan clearly set on 'winter' as no air blew...

My driver drove me from Candidasa to this cafe and it's truly a nice place to be. Their staff are welcoming, providing free locker service and also use of their facilities like showering, toilets and sun bathing chairs. The food is delicious and inexpensive. I went for snorkeling and got into currents. Was rescued by a passerby and the staff...
