The rooms are clean and tidy, the bungalows have pretty much everything you need. Staff is super friendly and very attentive to whatever you need.

Loved the Bali style bungalows set amongst the most abundant greenery and garden areas. It really is a little piece of calm, coolness, and a relaxing setting. The beds were firm but good, the aircon was a nice extra for the older style Bungalows that...More
We stayed here so we would be right at the dive center for obtaining our certification, and I'm so glad we did! The bungalows are nestled within a little maze of gardens. Our room was at the end, right next to a bar. We were...More
My title isn't referring to my partner in this case - but to the friendly little cat that owned the bungalow we stayed in. One night about 3am there was some screeching cat fight outside and Tiger came bursting through the wooden doors and straight...More
Is this place within walking of the town centre and good restaurants. So the rooms face the ocean, any sea views? Direct access to beach? Bar for drinks?

I think I can answer all of your questions. The property is situated in the middle of the town. The 'town' is stretched out along a single road that runs along the coastline. Certainly most if all rooms face the ocean, but are in gardens and I don't think there are ocean views. The property is on the land side of the road - not the ocean side. You can access the beach through the property directly opposite - this is an open arrangement and we did this a few times. There are many bars and restaurants (mainly restaurants that serve drinks - there is not a big 'bar scene' in Amed. The property has fruit juice/ tea and coffee all day that you can have on your room veranda, at a meeting place near reception, or in the breakfast meals area. The property serve breakfast but the only other meals are quick lunches for those on a dive course. They sell cold soft drink and beer at reasonable prices (again for in your room/ balcony, or with other guests in the meeting place). Management will recommend places to eat. Some are walking distance. They will also recommend and arrange free transport to good restaurants that are too far to walk. I recommend this place. Rick
