A friend tipped us off about Amed in Bali so after the busy streets of Ubud we decided to spend several days by the sea enjoy the snorkelling and food. The reviews for Bubu Racok had all been so complimentary we arrived with high expectations and were not disappointed. The location for this homestay couldn’t be better. You literally step...

We stayed for a blissful week in this homestay's "sister" accommodations, De'Adema, a short walk down the beach because the Bubu Racok did not have room. Both places are owned and run by the same welcoming family. The rooms in De'Adema all look out right on the ocean front and we were just steps to the water where there are...

Don't hesitate to spend time there. Staff is honest, helpful and friendly. Breakfast is good. It consists of a fruit juice, fresh fruits, omelet and pancake (how fat the omelet/pancake are depends on the day/cook). Scooter rental price is fair at 50k/day. There is a rather nice snorkeling spot very near from the house. Good snorkeling spots are in Jemeluk...

I stayed three nights and loved how well I got welcomed by Wayan and his family. The homestay is right at the beach which for me meant taking a swim at sunrise and having breakfast with the view of the sea and the vulcano. If I come back to Amed I will definately stay here again! Thanks Wayan and his...

They look after their guests at anytime. The room was immaculate and the breakfast (included in the rate) was exellent (pancake+omelet+fresh juice+fresh fruits+tea or coffee). You can...

We had a great time during our stay at Bubu Racok. The hotel in itself is perfectly located, right in front of the beach. The snorkeling areas right next to it are the best we have experienced during our stay in Indonesia (from Java to gili's / Lombok) But the real added value of this place are the people working...
