We stayed in the large villa over looking the lake. Had an amazing time here . We were able to take the boat out to visit the temple as well as catch a taxi to visit the munduk waterfall. The hotel is really nice and the staff are very friendly. The menu could do with some work to encompass more...

This is an excellent place to be if you've had enough of Bali heat! It is cool and quiet, and the villas are well designed to give privacy, and the sound of the forest fills the air! Despite no airconidtioning, one feels adequately cool in the afternoon and even cold at night! There's a library and karaoke room adjacent to...

The website looked very good. This would have to be the exception that proves the rule. The resort exceeded the expectations from the website. The staff were most helpful and friendly. The villa was quite extraordinary. Huge, but simple and understated. The views out over the lake and the air of peace and tranquility provided a truly memorable experience. Loved...

Superb view right in front your door. Sunshine will wake you up. The villa is without aircon, but bedugul is around 17° at night, chill. We stayed at Penglipuran villa, a well decorated villa, nice and tidy, lower villa with a whole view of the lake. Block their whole villa (3 bedroom) if you dont want to share a living...

Puri Candikuning is hotel with Lake View at one of their restaurant and pool. They are offer a private canoe from the property to the famous Pura Ulundanu Temple of Beratan Lake. The place is quite in the evening, and it was really nice to stay out of the crowd. In the morning the dawn is so beautiful with the...

We stayed at the villa on the lake. The villa is huge and tastefully decorated. The views are really to die for. It gets quite cold in the evening, the restaurant is open so we had a jumper and raincoat on ;-) we had to walk through thick fog ;-).. felt a bit weird after the warmth of Ubud. The...

The rooms are really amazing and the view from the restaurant/pool is just stunning. The only thing we weren't too impressed with, is the food. They rather want you to dine in your room instead of the restaurant, which is okay, but the food wasn't amazing. They don't have any wine on their drinks menu either, which is a bit...

We have stayed here 3 years running - this time for 2 weeks. It is the best resort we've stayed in in Bali over more than 20 years coming here. The accommodation is luxurious but affordable, the staff warm and caring and the scenery - like something out of Lord of the Rings - spectacular, right on the crater lake...
