The real Bali, the LUMBUNG DAMUH is perfect for those that want a holiday that is right in the heart of the Balinese people, culture and atmosphere. Tania and Lempot (plus kids) are very welcoming and make you feel at home from the word go. Nothing is of any trouble and once you relax just a little bit and operate...

It hadn't been even a week after leaving Lumbung Damuh when I found myself back drawn back there again. It captured me with its comfortable relaxed atmosphere and the days just seemed to slide by in a warm haze. The whole family are kind and friendly and accepted me as one of their own. I spent my time playing with...

You feel very welcome and the people are always trying to make everything possible for you Ofcourse its not as clean or tidy as a hotel in germany would be but you couldnt expect that kinda service for a price like this anywhere else. Stayed 4 nights and returned for another 3 nights after changing our itinerary. We booked the superior Lumbung closest to the beach and had a much better sleep w/ fresh ocean air under a stunning high thatched roof than at the air-conditioned resort that my teen daughter thought she wanted to stay at - but changed her mind after staying...

we stayed in Lumbung Damuh for 2 weeks and had been there already in 2009. fantastic natural place with great people. Why do we travel so far ? to stay in some luxury 5 star hotel ? not really, we go there to discover the country, the culture and nature, and theres no better places to be so close to...

This little place was recommended to us by a friend and we jumped at the opportunity to experience something different - we quickly checked out of our hotel. Don't get me wrong - the hotel we were staying at was nice enough, but we were seeking a more authentic Balinese experience away from the city noise and crazy motorcycle drivers!...

I found the place to be much as expected, if anything it was cuter than I expected and the area quieter. It is on a really local bit of beach, there are a few other hotels about, but we were there when it was pretty quiet and it was mainly locals on the beach at sunset. The beach is pebbly...

The photos on their website very misleading - the actual property was not very spacious, clean or tidy. Our room was double booked when we arrived. We were offered a smaller hut with no apology. The hut was very disappointing and the upper floor near the entrance felt like it might give way. The kitchen looked really dirty - i...
