We have just stayed at the melasti beach resort in legian, this is our 3 stay there my parents 7th time and I am utterly disappointed at the way we were treated. We had $700 stolen out of our safe and the hotel did not want to know about it! They said they asked the room boy if he took...

A friend recommended this hotel. My first room developed a small lake under the aircon in 30 minutes. My only alternative was a sub standard room, which they admitted to, but refused to discount in any way. I had to mind my head getting in and out of bed as the bed was under a stairwell. They ruined long pants...

I've stayed at this hotel twice now and I love it! Its cheap, clean and the staff are awesome. Yeah its old, but that's part of its charm. The air con works, but I guess being run 24/7/365 they do struggle sometimes. The rooms are quite cool anyway due to the tiling and wood. The location is awesome, the pools...

I have just returned from Bali and stayed at the Melasti Legian for 5 days and loved it. I cannot understand any of the negative reviews my only deduction is that if you want 5 star then pay for it. We had a cottage suite which was huge and perfectly clean. The AC worked perfectly and was on pretty much...

I have just came home from staying at Melasti which was recommended from friends.I can truly say I was disappointed as we had trouble with the ac as well and due to a knee injury we asked to be moved to the ground floor which they did. The AC in the second room worked fine but the linen that is...

This is a beautiful older style resort. The room 127 was clean the AC worked all the time we had hot water, the room was large the bed comfy I certainly have no complaints. Yes it may be aging but aren't we all ? A light in the bathroom blew while we were there and was sorted out before we got...

We stayed at Melasti for our second week in Bali and were not happy at all. On arrival our room air conditioning was not working and had to be fixed 3 times throughout the week. We also asked for a fan for the week. Even down to the TV being fuzzy on each station and was very old TV (square...

If u like dark, smelly dirty rooms with bugs stay here. V disappointed even after changing rooms to a " better room". The whole place is dirty old and run down. The staff are friendly but that's a Balinese trait thank goodness.

After reading the reviews I was panic stricken, especially when the air conditioner played up on our first day. They repaired it in room 206 & it remained on our entire stay. We locked everything up in the suitcase and kept the keys on us at all times. By the time we left we had nothing that was left out...

I was also concerned with the negative feedback last 2x we stayed in Kuta, I can not fault the location of the Melasti lovely to walk around and know your not going to get run over (front of hotel) and not the common smell of Kuta. If your lucky to have Fery make your room up everyday what a lovely...
