We took our two daughters (6 and 13) to Bali for the first time. We stayed at the Jayakarta for eight nights in a Deluxe room. We had booked a one bedroom apartment but felt it was too far from the pool so they happily moved us. This is not a five star resort so we didn't have high expectations....

Average.. Really bad security, sketchy lock on door. Rooms are basic, not even a power socket outlet at all. Breakfast is OK, better off going out to a cafe. It's right on the beach which is good, but the pool is full of Aussie bogans all day long. It's cheap, but you get what you pay for.

I have stayed before at the Jayakarta but found this time that the rooms really need updating. The beds were comfortable though we had wanted a double bed at least and got twin beds. We asked but they forgot to zip together so we didn't worry about it. We stayed for a week this time. Bathrooms need upgrading as does...

While this hotel is in a great location and lovely gardens the rooms are a very tired and need updating. ( also need to have personal safes in rooms a must for any hotel) Restaurants and bars were way over priced and due to this they were always empty. This hotel is probably best for families with kids but couples...

I stayed for 3 days in a one bedroom apartment with my husband and my 2 year old daughter. I have stayed here twice in the last 10 years and even though the buildings looked tired, it was still a pleasant stay. We chose this hotel mainly for its location. Behind this hotel lies the beautiful Legian beach, where my...

This was our second stay at the jayakarta. Up until this afternoon i was very pleased with the accommodation and all services provided, the staff were always friendly with a smile. This afternoon while checking out we had a problem with our room tab and the swim up bar and mini bar, we had been over charged. When we raised...

We have just returned from a 7 night stay at the Jayakarta with my husband and 2 children aged 18 and 21. We stayed in the deluxe rooms and were very happy. The rooms were serviced daily and when we requested power plugs they were brought to our room within minutes. The room was close to pool and restaurant. The...

We're do I start .if you want ultra modern rooms with big plasma screens and state of the art amenities ,this is not the hotel for you.As a person who has travelled to Bali many time over the last 35 years Jayakarta still retains some of that old world charm.Yes ,the rooms do look a bit tired, older style tv,s and...
