The Vilarisi Hotel is Conveniently situated and quiet. The hotel is fairly old and decrepit and in sore need of renovation. The air-conditioner in our room was struggling (and losing) a battle with the humidity. No bedside lamps and a wall socket hanging out of the wall is not good. The wash basin in the bathroom had a very bad...

Great hotel! In a nice quiet laneway, but within walking distance to the beach and clubs. Great massage parlour at the end of laneway , as well as a fixed price store and a minimart practically next door. The staff are lovely and very friendly although their English is average. The rooms are big spacious and have a great aircon....

Got a spacial price at the end of the season, so we thought we try it. Booked a double bed, breakfast and asked for pick up. No pick up from the airport, the reception girl told us I "booked" twin beds and breakfast wouldn't be included. After all got a double bed room, but the bathroom was smelling so bad...

We stayed at the vilarisi hotel for 8 days, the first day when we went to the pool it was disgusting.... Green and slimmy. No apoligies from the hotel, they said we could swim in it..... For the next 4 days they said they were speaking to the manager. Finally on day 5 they started to treat the pool but...

We booked in to the Vilarisi just so we could store luggage between the time we left the Mara River Safari Lodge while we went for a last minute shop and shower before going to the airport. I can tell you the short few hours was enough of this dirty, smelly, ugly, and depressing place. OMG how I pity anyone...

Firstly let me say that I am a budget traveller. I love finding little gems that help to stretch my holiday dollar and do not expect champagne on a beer (or water) budget... This hotel could be one of those gems... it is in a great location, our room was large, well furnished and a kettle was provided, the lead...

ok only if you are single! The double bed room was a king single bed only, no windows, barely working a/c... A fan would be better, smell disgusting, barely functional bathroom. I've stayed in many home stays & budget accoms but so far this place has very few redeeming qualities! Ok, the positives are prob the location, if you want...

I booked 2 family room for 8 persons for 1 night, after checked in I feel this hotel is not that bad, pretty impresive with the look and amnities they had. Trouble came in the morning when I'm doing my ritual "defecate". After sitting couple minutes and I'd like to finishing my ritual then no water at all. Of course...

This hotel appears to be century old from outside, yet charming due to its unique historic look. From inside the setup is average. The rooms are clean (although, you got to careful with mosquitos). The staff is very nice and co-operative. Swimming pool is smaller than it appears online, yet accomodative. It's situated closer to airport and in heart of...
