The staff and beach were unbelievable or close to it for our rate. I really recommend this hotel for a quiet high quality stay. We felt well treated the entire time we were here and the staff made us feel like family. Can't really remember the bad except the roof top patio isn't maintained which is a shame

We stayed with my husband 2 nights in this hotel and were very happy. The people running the hotel are lovely and very very helpful. It is not a touristic place there so it can be pretty difficult to organize yourself but with their help we had no problem at all to see what we wanted. To return to Cebu... More

My partner and I were the only guests of Lan and Maurice for five very restful days. Our hosts were very accommodating and helpful whilst always allowing us privacy. I would highly recommend this hotel for aid workers (like me) who need a short break from their work in Leyte or other parts of Philippines. It was a great way... More

We spent 8 nights at Dona Marta in June 2012 and we could not have been happier with our visit. The room was absolutely spotless. Beds were nice and comfortable with good back support. Our beach front cottage was very close to the beach where we could hear the waves breaking on the shore. The beach is great, mostly had... More

The DM Hotel was the first place we stayed on the Philippines. The Courtyard was like a botanic garden, the staff was always beeing made us the stay like in a family. The beach was clean and right for long walks. The nearby "one and only" restaurant Rositas served delicious food as traditional philippines taste and seafood, too. Their seafood... More

After careful review of all the possible places to stay in the area, DM seemed like the run-away winner with all of these super positive reviews. Much to our dismay, it just simply didn't measure up. The rooms were not as big as the pictures make them seem and there are only a few to choose from. The one closest... More

A real gem, a small boutique hotel offering a very personalised service. Situated right on a broad sandy beach, ideal for swimming, beach activities, and long walks. The nearby "native" restaurant, which is under the same management, serves superb food, in fact some of the finest we have tasted in the Philippines. The fish is always fresh, the vegetables grown...
