The best views of Nuwara Eliya are in their gardens. We arrived late but had requested them to prepare dinner, which they readily did, for the 3 vegetarians. It was really good. We requested them to pack breakfast when we wanted to go to Horton Plains and they did that well too. The rooms were spacious. There are 2 rooms...

The hotel is nice. It'a a bit remote in the hill but few minutes of a nice walk or a tuktuk will do the job. It has a really nice view on the lake. The room was really nice, looks more like a Swiss chalet that what you can see in other parts of Sri Lanka. The staff helped us...

First of all, let me start with the positive. We booked Deluxe Triple with Lake View, one of the room downstairs. The room is clean and spacious, with heater. Good size of bathroom. The bedroom glass door leads to a garden & view of Lake Gregory. The reception area/ living room is nice with beautiful view. I had to engage...

First, it's quite hard to find this hotel. Fortunately it was not raining or the mud road to this hotel would be even difficult to drive on. When you reached the place, there was no restaurant nearby so you had to have dinner in this hotel, which turned out be a big trap. It's a set menu so you have...

We stayed for 2 nights based on Agoda reviews, these reviews and the hotels listing on the Agoda site are completely misleading. The first point is the location is listed as “City Centre” this is a long way from the truth, in fact the hotel is 3 km from the centre of the city down a maze of tiny roads...

Villa Acacia is set high above the town in a pretty, peaceful, rural area. It is a nice walk into town past the houses and small vegetable gardens or the hotel will get you a tuk tuk. Staff are really lovely - manager Mohan is excellent and the hotel is very helpful in arranging good and good value transport. There...

We arrived at the Villa Acacia only to find out that the booking agent booked us into a full hotel... it was night and we were tired. Five minutes later our car broke down and our driver had to take care of that. The staff at the Villa fellt so bad for us, even though they're not the ones who...
