The staff were amazing, my husbands highlight was the snooker room where he spent both evenings. He also enjoyed a round of golf at the club next door.

it is just very posh and so.. very expensive (offered an earl Grey tea to some friends, superb presnetaion but could have bought some local meals for that sum . Worth the price if you have the budget. The setting is really upscale, service too. E g they have the largest collection of teas in the whole country (whole wall behind the bar ;-)
On the domain there are some other eateries.
