We stayed at this hotel this past weekend for a wedding. The hotel itself is very old or "historic" as many would like to call it. The rooms are pretty outdated and resemble more of a bed and breakfast than a fancy resort/spa. Floral bed spreads/floral curtains to match and very old dresser/TV's. The bathrooms and very old too and...

What can I say, this place is old. Room doors are actually operated by a metal key, really not a big deal. Rooms are outdated and generally in bad shape. Old TV's, dirty carpet, paint coming off the walls, etc.The lobby is cool. A little pricey for what was provided. I wouldn't suggest this place, good thing I was just...

Things have not been maintained. Lobby was sloppy. Service was distracted and spending time eating and drinking at bar. Not pro dressed and made up. Front desk was very nonchalant. Room was clean put needs maintenance. Curtains were droopy. Walls need maintenance for mold and damage especially in bath. Tiles very dirty.carpets need repairs. I am so sad to see...

Hesitantly and in spite of the reviews my wife and I stayed here. It was built in 1875 so it's old. And yes I did see a few areas where it looked like management was particularly sparing with its maintenance but I was so glad I stayed here! My room was clean; no complaints. The hotel is really cool to...

Oh, what can I say nice about our stay here? 1) The lobby bar is fun - beautiful murals, music, popcorn 2) The location is fantastic for the Bathhouses and the park 3) hmmmm, 3.... don't have one. Let me be honest - the staff was beyond pale rude and unhelpful. I was met with short terse answers every time...

We traveled down from Memphis,TN just a last minute getaway. We decided to stay at the Arlington since every time we vistewe always say we are going to stay there instead of just sitting on the porch of the hotel or having a drink in the lobby. We arrived at the hotel Friday at 9pm. To my dismay the hotel...

My husband and I stayed here for a 4 night mini vacation. I want to start by saying that I love old hotels. They have charm, personality and charisma lacking in newer hotels. It's fun to see the old light fixtures, paintings, cornices, elevators and so forth. Walking in to the Arlington, the lobby is gorgeous. The hallways and elevators...

The hotel is a unique lodging experience because of the history of the hotel. The suites are big and not typical of chain hotels. The pools and hot tubs, the lobby, the dance floor, the history of Al Capone, and the location near the bathhouses and historic downtown, make this hotel a destination in itself, rather than just a place...

I could not believe the state of disrepair of their spa. It is a beautiful hotel and a real gem in the city, but the spa was filthy. The curtains on the changing areas are stained and tattered. There was part of the ceiling that had collapsed and it was just sitting on the floor. It is a real shame...
