We stayed 3 nights in cabin A. The microwave and "stereo" did not work. The wall beside the range had a layer of grease covered by a layer of dust. The living room furniture was horrible (a wore out futon and two very old straight back office chairs). The place with a little work could be a great...but it was...

Location is wonderful-- like being in the woods but only a mile or so away from town. Owner is very friendly and accommodating. A friend and I went for an art retreat and the location and weather we're certainly great for that. Cabins do need a deep cleaning, and as other folks have said the bedding needs updating. I took...

The owners are very nice & will bend over backwards to make your stay more comfortable. The cabins themselves are nice & spacious. Updated bedding & new towels would go a long way. Should I go back, I'd probably bring my own towels & pillows. The fridge stocked with breakfast food was a nice touch.

We stayed in one of the newer two-story cabins with two other couples. It had three bedrooms, two bathrooms, two living areas, kitchen, and covered porch overlooking the lake. Breakfast foods are provided for you to cook each morning. Very hospitable! Skip was a great host! I would have given it five stars if the beds had been more comfortable....

My boyfriend and I stayed 2 nights in cabin C. It was the perfect size for us. The "breakfast fixin's" were great(english muffins, icing cinnamon rolls, bacon, butter, milk, eggs and orange juice). We loved getting to take the rowboat out on the lake. They had the deck decorated with Christmas lights and our cabin had a tiny Christmas tree inside....

Skip was extremely helpful and friendly and the property was very quiet. We really enjoyed our short, rainy stay. The futon in the living room wasn't very comfortable but we didn't use the living room much. We used both the AC and the heat and appreciated not having too rough it too much :).

The cabin, as advertised is small, but was clean and well kept and had a beautiful view. They even stocked the fridge with eggs, bacon, milk, OJ, cinnamon rolls, and English muffins. We were able to bring our dogs and they had a great time as well. There is a beautiful (huge) gazebo on the lake and 2 row boats...

We had such an AMAZING time here. A friend recommended the place to us and were were so glad we listened. We came in late Friday morning and were greeted by the owner of the cabins, Skip. Nicest guy and just as helpful as can be. It was such a relaxing and quiet weekend getaway and we cant wait to...

I recently vacationed here with my family, we booked Cabin F. I must say that the cabin was the perfect size for two families. Skip was a great host, not to mention very informative. The cabin smelled of fresh wood throughout with a rustic feel. It was clean, roomy, pet friendly; you will find clean linens, cooking utensils, kitchenware, paper...
