This place is not expensive. We paid about $80 for a double room. Check in took ages. Nice enough staff on desk. The hotel is really a motel ( about 17 rooms ) and all ground level. Room was equiped with a king bed and as a result left hardly anywhere else to go. TV was ancient and attached to...

Arrived early evening and there were only two regular rooms available. We wanted a larger bed, so they made their three bedroom lodge available to us at a reduced rate. That's what I call customer service. It was exciting to see all they were doing to renovate, upgrade the place. If you have a group of people, the 3 bedroom/2...

Rooms were nice and the owners very nice when we checked in. Spent some time with us showing a map of restaurants and telling us about Meda Verde which we weren't going to go but changed our minds. So glad we did. We like to stay at local family businesses when we can. Prices were reasonable and had coffee pots...

Quiet motel on edge of town was perfect for family. Staff was very personable and helpful, providing an intro to the town and eating options. We loved the three-queen bed configuration. Pool is no longer available, but they have a small area for mini golf, croquet, and some other toys to entertain kids.

The proprietor was kind enough to let us check in over the phone and leave our room ready for us as we were arriving very late. The room was spotless! I have stayed in 5 star hotels that were not that clean! The bed was comfy. We had the best nights sleep of a multi night road trip at the...

We stayed here for two days as part of our 20th Anniversary road trip. The motel sits on the outskirts of town next to a two-lane highway, which means we were spared the noise on the main drag and we didn't have to listen to trucks rumbling by all night on a busy highway. The motel grounds are very clean...

We stayed at the White Eagle for one night before our visit to the Mesa Verde Nat'l Park. It is an older motel that is well maintained and very clean. The friendly owner greeted us and checked us in and then spent a good 10 minutes giving me recommendations and locations on the best restaurants in town. It is a...

I stayed here two nights while exploring the Canyons of the Ancients. This place is very clean and an exceptional value. I have been to Cortez several times usually stating at the Hampton or Best Western. Never again. Stay here for a fraction of the price. This is a family run hotel and the owners were very helpful in getting...

We stayed for two nights while visiting Mesa Verde. It is located on the Southern outskirts of Cortez. It is a simple motel but it is neat and tidy and well run with excellent wi fi reception. There is some noise from the nearby main road during the day but this dies down at night. There are a few tables...

Friendly check-in staff was very helpful in helping us to find a great restaurant in town. Facilities were well maintained. There were outdoor activities provided by the lodge such as disc golf. Room was EXTREMELY clean. Great value. Would stay here again.
