We did a week-long Southwest trip and this was the best place we stayed and definitely the best value for the dollar. A tad retro but the furnishings were all new and our room was very clean and comfortable!

We were traveling through this area and decided to stay in Cortez. We looked around and chose this hotel because it was proximate to a restaurant across the parking lot. Both the hotel and the restaurant turned out to be good values. The hotel was clean and comfortable.

The girl at the front desk was pleasant, but not really professional. The Motel is a VERY OLD OUTDATED building. It needs a lot of updating and beautifying. Our particular unit was almost "funny". Was a good stay and rooms were clean. They were a little small but for a good clean bed for the night before a trip to Mesa Verde was a good choice. Just a little expensive. Front desk person was very nice. And parking was good. Ac/heater worked well. Breakfast was good as well.

This hotel has rather unfortunate design. There are 4-pods of rooms in a small corridor. Although we had a Do Not Disturb sign out, our neighbors disregarded it. Apparently 2 of the rooms of our foursome were occupied by people travelling together. They spent a lot of time going between rooms, banging the doors loudly as they did and calling...

For the price, this gets 4 stars! I wish j could give it 5, but the rooms are small and the property is old. Plus the pool/hot tub was closed! All in all I was pleased. I walked in without a reservation and the lady at the front desk was very nice, accommodating and super helpful! Room was clean, bed...

We travel about five months of the year and stay at a lot of budget hotels in a lot of different places. When we make bookings our minimum requirements are refrigerator, microwave, guest laundry, free breakfast and free in room WiFi. At time of booking, you don't know how these things are going to work out until you actually stay...
