A historic small inn in the quiet residential section of the French Quarter. Three townhouses built in 1830 by the Soniat family now operated as a hotel. Exquisitely furnished. Lush tropical courtyards. The hotel has 20 suites and 10 rooms.

French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.

After all the hype, I may have just had my bar set too high. Don’t get me wrong the atmosphere is there and the service is best anywhere and old school classy. Rooms however need a bit of attention. Bed was almost terrible; shower tile and grout left a lot to be desired; just

We also have two full suites which have twin beds. One of these suites can hold 3 guests. In addition 2 of the grand suite have a king bed and a single bed. These 2 suites have 2 baths. "Larger rooms on the gallery."
"Rooms on the ground floor are larger, those facing the courtyard are away from the road. Rooms 50 and 55 highly recommended"
"I loved Suite 38"
"Stairs are very steep and elevator is a little spooky so if you have mobility issues 1st floor is best. 2nd fl if you want a balcony."
