Great hotel that is within walking distance to everything in the French Quarter. Very clean & neat. Love the old charm of the building. Very friendly & helpful staff. Gated parking was a plus. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to experience New Orleans.

The Frenchman Hotel is in the hippest and coolest area of New Orleans, Frenchman Street! Right outside your door are great restaurants and live music/clubs. Also just a block from the Riverfront Trolley station.

Location was very good for travel thru the french quarter. The Frenchmen Hotel was very nice and I would stay again for sure. We had fun listening to the different Jazz bands as well as the street musicians. We parked in the pay lot behind the Frenchmen hotel which was very close. Close walk to Jackson Square.

This place was awesome with just about everything within walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel. If you are sensitive to noise, just ask the front desk and they'll hook you up. You can stay where the active is...and still get your beauty rest.

If your looking for a fun, quirky, loud, clean hotel with a staff willing to please in every way the frenchmen hotel does it. The courtyard/pool area is great because the pool is heated to a perfect temperature. You can literally walk out your room jump into the pool then shower and go to frenchmen street where all the fun...

Location - excellent - on the edge of the French Quarter. Close to public transport and more "local" type venues. Rooms - adequately sized and furnished. Staff - simply excellent. Like many well regarded properties on TripAdvisor it is the staff that make these properties so desirable. This is one such property.

My friend and I booked The Frenchmen Hotel for three nights. The location was fantastic. We stayed in a queen/ queen. The room was nice, but there was a hole cut out in the bathroom ceiling with brown paper that had tape covering it. By the second morning, the tape was peeling off and the paper was falling down. It...

C.P. Thanks for writing. You should not have been in that room at all. it should have been taken off the market. The security can be a problem when other guests don't care to secure the property when leaving. Diligence should been taken by the Front Desk Agent. Thank you for informing us of your comments as they will be...

Very happy that we found this hotel. It's location in the French Quarter, away from the tourist crowds, was exactly what we were looking for. The heated pool is right outside the rooms. The gal at the front desk couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming.

The location of building was perfect, right on Frenchmen St, which had a unique nightlife scene that I'm glad I was able to experience. The door did not offer much security, as it had only one lock, and had a large gap between the door and jamb. I stayed near the front of the hotel, so you could hear much...

The Frenchmen was cute and great location to everything. But no one told us when we booked the whole hotel that it is along side the street (Frenchmen St) where all the locals go to enjoy the New Orleans sounds! Going strong and loud until 4am. The hotel staff was nice and accommodating, gave us earplugs. George was especially a...
