This review is only for the dining and bar. I have not stayed at this hotel. The Columns Hotel is a great gathering spot for locals and visitors to the Big Easy (non-hotel guests) to unwind after a day at work or exploring the city. Located in the Garden District, it is easily accessible by street car. The large tables...

This amazingly spectacular building is a great stop to see a living relic of what New Orleans was in its prime. A former private residence that retains all of ours original grandeur. Walk from room to room and explore this place so that you don't miss a detail. Then have a drink in the bar or in the porch, it...

Sunday Brunch on the porch in the sunshine (on a cool day): Delicious Bloody Marys to sip while listening to guitarist Chip Wilson perform a variety of standards--often with clever riffs and nods to other songs--along with some of his own compositions. St Charles streetcars passing.

The Columns Hotel is a Beautiful Setting that has Delicious Drinks! We sat on the giant porch and had our drinks. We ordered a Pimns Cup, a mint julep and a side car. They were all very good. The traditional Southern Porch is the perfect place to chill and watch the street cars go by. The Hotel architecture is beautiful...

A great place to end the evening, or people watch or just relax, the front porch of the columns hotel is it. Easy streetcar access, fine old post civilwar mansion with good bartenders and good lite fare, events can be had here and the staff are friendly. Just sit back and have a cocktail, or a coffee and enjoy the...

Stayed here for 7 nights in January. Beautiful space. The rooms are old and funky but where else can you have nightly music in the ballroom on the main floor with excellent musicians. The woodwork is outstanding. The staff was exceptional. It is right on the street car line. Perfect for parade watching! Very charming!

Built in 1883 as a private residence but since turned into a hotel, it is a GRAND house. I haven't stayed in the hotel but it's a great place to grab a drink, especially during Mardi Gras, located right on the parade route. Excellent Sazerac!

We have eaten many meals on the veranda and thought it would fun to stay here. What a mistake. We were first put in a on the second floor over the bar. Way too noisy. We then moved to third floor in a tiny room that smelled like deodorant, with a tiny, lumpy bed. The breakfast that was included was...

Historic building, clean linens....lovely musician named John Rankin playing that night in the lobby...inexpensive and huge breakfast included.....server was lovely, personable. Balcony, both lower and upper quite lovely! Go have a hot dog at "Dat Dog" while there...
