I stayed at the Ritz while visiting my daughter. The hotel is charming as ever and the staff , just lovely. The front desk agent Sara was exceptional and added that special touch that makes you want to revisit a hotel. Thanks Sara.

The Ritz is the Ritz and in this particular case I feel what made the hotel special was the service. The hotel itself is not as updated as I would like it to be or would expect from the Ritz. The bathrooms could use some work at least in the room we stayed at. But the best part of this...

As with most older hotels, the rooms are small but you won't care. The fabrics and decor are stunningly gorgeous. The common areas are well appointed and the location is perfect! We used the concierge multiple times during our 4 day visit. We received superior recommendations and service from the concierge staff. I can't wait to go back!

Stayed here for our 8th wedding anniversary and it was amazing. We stayed in the Balcony Suite. I was a little hesitant at first because the room seemed small online. Getting there however, the room was really spacious. It had a living room and bedroom, with an amazingly huge balcony with a great view. I also really liked the bathroom...

The staff at The Ritz-Carlton New Orleans is a ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. EVERYONE greeted us personally. I would make this a "Bucket List" of places to stay. If possible, you NEED to experience the Club Level. I will definitely be back in the near future.

The buffet breakfast alone is a great reason to stay at this ultra luxurious hotel. This is the 3rd year in a row that I have stayed at this hotel, and it keeps getting better! Love the southern hospitality from all the employees and the amazing food and drinks served at the restaurant. The rooms are very well appointed, comfortable,...

Great location....so convenient to everything! Could watch all the Mardi Gras Parades from the room if you wanted to.....but you really should go outside for a few! Located just a little over a block from Bourbon St. and within walking distance of SO much. Rooms were clean & comfortable. Bathroom not quite what I expect at Ritz properties and room...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
