We stayed in Ritz- Carlton in Sarasota. New Orleans directs was even a better experience. Would highly recommend everyone to stay and get pampered. The staff was very warm and cordial. Rooms were nicely decorated and the facility was well kept.

Everything you would expect out of a Ritz – attentive service, beautiful building and spacious rooms. The location is unbeatable, too – walking distance to French Quarter, Bourbon street, and the waterfront.

Stayed 5 nights for business the staff and food were exemplary, I'd certainly recommend this hotel. Mike Fricke, Stanley, Jose or Juan, Chris, and the whole Banquet staff were exceptional. Hotel location is literally a block or two from the French Quarter, also a 10min walk to Harrah's casino, also shops to buy souvenirs and eateries.

Great accommodations and service. Had a problem with low water pressure in the shower the first morning. Engineering came during the day and fixed the problem. Room was nicely appointed. Bed extremely comfortable. Great heating/air system. Valet parking was very friendly, professional and quick. Bar and restaurant were great. Separate reviews on both of those.

The staff and hotel was everything we expected it to be. We could not have been more impressed by the total experience we had during our stay. From the moment we arrived the entire staff met our every needs. They even brought us some champagne and a cupcake to help celebrate my wife's birthday. I would highly recommend The Ritz-Carlton.

Staff was extremely friendly and professional. If you could imagine it they would go out of their way to make it a reality. Will definitely be staying with this chain again! Made the entire trip to New Orleans a great experience.

What a great hotel to return to after experiencing the lively streets of New Orleans! We loved being able to retreat back to the club lounge to enjoy some delicious food and drinks. Well worth every penny and would definitely recommend!

Nice location, comfortable rooms, great service and very friendly. Loved my time there except the Nescafe coffee machine in the rooms with maybe 3 tablespoons of coffee. Great place for our company meetings for the week.

The Ritz Carlton Club Lounge continues to go above and beyond what we hope a hotel stay will be, it is the benchmark that we compare other hotels too and sadly there is only one other hotel that has ever come close. As business owners we are always looking at others and how they operate in terms of customer service...

In a bustling environment like New Orleans, having a clean, comfortable, luxurious hotel where the staff pays attention to the details is a big plus, and the Ritz and their staff delivered on this. The Club level experience elevates the main hotel experience to a higher level by adding another level of attention to detail and guest comforts (special concierges,...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
