We stayed in the Club level romos. Large romos, stylish furniture and very comfortable. Club level gives an excelent 24h service. The hotel is very well located, at the entrance of French Quarter, but far enough from busy and noisy FQ streets.

This is my second time staying at this hotel on business. I give it TEN stars on service, and the overall accommodations. The front desk and room service staff provides exceptional service. The rooms are spotless. Perfect convenient location.

I have stayed in New Orleans many times over the years and in my view this hotel is one of the best in the city. Adjacent to the French Quarter makes it a fun place to stay and the staff does a great job equal to your expectation of the brand. Room was quiet, clean and up to date. My...

We were here for four nights for a meeting. The location can't be beat -- on Canal Street a block and a half from Bourbon Street. Of course, that location has a small down-side -- Canal Street is a bit seedy. I think that's why the hotel locates its main lobby on the third floor, an elevator ride from the...

Everyone was friendly with a great smile. We were given a corner room with an awesome view of Canal Street, French Quarter and the River. The courtyard was a delight for breakfast and drinks in the afternoon. The location made it easy to walk into the French Quarter.

We have tried other hotels for conferences, and after staying a number of times at The Ritz, we're totally commited to staying at the Ritz in NOLA. Excellent service; very well kept, really comfortable beds, turndown service, a nice walkup coffee kiosk in the AM, and a great bar in Davenport's where Jeremy Davenport performs NOLA jazz standards four nights...

Stayed for a weekend at the Ritz. As is typical in New Orleans, the rooms are a bit on the small side, but I would say the Ritz is the 2nd largest room I've seen in New Orleans (Windsor Court I believe is the largest). You definitely feel you are in a luxury property based on bathroom fixtures, room decor,...

We didn't stay at the hotel but had breakfast here. The dining area is on the 3rd floor & since it was nice out we ate out in the courtyard area under the gazebo. There was 1 server so the service was a little on the slow side even though there were only about 4 other tables occupied. The food...

We arrive at the property and one gentleman takes our luggage. As we are entering through the front doors, there is one bellman watching us open the doors so that the Bellman carrying the luggage can take the luggage inside.... He did not even offer to open the door or assist his coworker with the luggage. Our luggage was dropped...

We stayed for 5 nights last week for our anniversary, and had a WONDERFUL time. The Ritz is such a nice escape after a fun day exploring New Orleans. The beds are amazing - best I've ever slept in, although a little too soft for my husband, who ended up with a back ache. The lounge was so nice just...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
