WOW! I love this hotel! We loved everything about this hotel - from the employees, bar, food, coffee and courtyard to the security at the entrance and at the elevator. We arrived at the crack of dawn to check in. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. They fed us and stored our bags until our room was ready. Our bed...

Our first trip to New Orleans. Hotel Le Marais was perfect. Very clean rooms, great breakfast, wonderful staff and great location. Very close to Bourbon Street but couldn't hear anything from the hotel. The bar was great, LOVED happy hour!!!!

Hotel Le Marais is situated just a block off of Bourbon Street making it a great place to have some peace while in the French Quarter. Modern interior compliments the brick patio with pool and lounge area. Great service!

Enjoyed our stay with friends from college days. Hotel was in walking distance to lots of places for us to see. Took the Uber to several restaurants and to the WWII Museum which is a must for everyone to visit.

Great location. Room was clean and updated but still retained the French quarter "feel". Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast included with the stay was great. Food was well prepared and there was a wide selection to choose from. Enjoyed our stay very much. We will definitely stay here again.

Located between Royal and Bourbon on Conti, this little gem is not only convenient, but affordable and has every amenity you could want. Walk to all your favorite places and return at night to a quiet, comfortable sleep. No street noises! Very attractive décor, lovely outdoor patio and pool, and the breakfast was wonderful and included. Plus the people could...

Great place in the heart of the French Quarter. Walking distance to everywhere you would want to go. The patio/pool area is a great place to unwind after a long day of walking/shopping/exploring. Will be coming back here for sure!

While the hotel is right in between the hustle and bustle of Bourbon st and Royal st, it is suprisingly quiet. We particularly enjoyed the serene courtyard with the heated pool (albeit small) and lounge chairs. Our room was elegantly furnished and looking over the courtyard. Wonderful helpful staff. Complimentary breakfast is a plus. Small size boutique hotel at a...

We loved nearly everything about our stay at Le Marais - from early check-in to our departure. The staff is amazing - unfailingly helpful and polite. Only 1/2 block from Bourbon Street yet as quiet as a mid-city hotel CAN be. Delicious breakfast pastries, comfortable common area and outside patio with unheated salt water pool, fast Wi-Fi and nice room....

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
