stayed 3 nights in early May, location is great, walking distance to all French Quarter to do's. Near all the cool restaurants, bars and goodies on Bourbon St! Staff very friendly and room clean and comfortable. Would stay again!

We have stayed at this hotel several times now. Staff is GREAT, friendly, helpful and several recognized us on our return visit, and we recognized them too! Rooms are a little on the small side with twin beds. Very good location in the French Quarter. Breakfasts are adequate but you will want to save your calories for your dinners anyway.

We visit Nola on a regular basis and usually stay at a different hotel. Because of jazz fest, the other hotel was insanely expensive. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were impressed. The lication was outstanding, and once inside, we never heard any noise from the quarter. The staff are very friendly and professional, and made us...

Great location. Great grind deck and breakfast staff. Bathroom and room in general was not really clean. Used face towel was hanging on the shower. Breakfast is really good. Outside area is very relaxing.

We were here for 4 nights wanting to enjoy New Orleans as "locals" by avoiding the hustle of Bourbon Street and actually move around to experience different parts and restaurants. This hotel is located PERFECTLY in the center of everything. Walk out and to the right you have Bourbon (Action and Activity), go left and you have Royal (Calmness, Shopping,...

Nice quiet hotel yet close to the"action" of Bourbon St. Daily breakfast was a welcome amenity Staff had no problem going above and beyond. The operative words to describe the total staff are '' pleasant, smiles, helpful and most congenial" My brother and I had a nice experience!!!!

First and foremost the staff in this Hotel were all excellent, this includes Concierge, Reception, Maid Service and Bar Service. Location is superb if you want the nightlife and if you dont, go to Salt lake City. There is no Restaurant, Breakfast is meagre and rooms are small, ours did not even have an opening window and room was stuffy....

Le Marsis is a high quality, well situated hotel in the French Quarter with attentive staff and an excellent breakfast buffet. My only complaint is the hotel allows bar access to the pool area until 1:00 AM which makes sleeping in the rooms facing the courtyard impossible.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
