Great prices and helpful staff, plus it's in a quiet but convenient location for day and evening activities. Only negative thing is the water pressure was sad making it hard to have a relaxing shower.

We stayed at Le Marais for 5 days, 4 nights. The staff was wonderful, very outgoing, friendly, and were there for you if/when you had questions. Hotel is smaller, but location is GREAT! Right off of Bourbon Street. The continental breakfast is a plus. Hotel is very secure requiring your hotel key after 11pm and to access the elevators and...

The overall stay was great. Hotel staff was very helpful. The only negatives were minor. Our room key was needed to activate the elevator. It took 3 or more times of swiping the card to get it to work. Others in our group had the same problem. Also, room 512 had a constant pinging in the ceiling. And no that...

This is a charming boutique hotel located in the heart of the French Quarter. The staff is first rate. As to the rooms they are small but attractive. However, if you get a room overlooking Conti Street be aware the doors lead sound and Bourbon Street is very loud. The bathrooms are also small but the hotel supplies plenty of...

I did Alot of research on hotels in the French Quarter and ended up choosing Le Marais because of its proximity to Bourbon (without the noise). They are also placed in top lists of most comfortable beds and they most certainly were. At the time we booked we received 2 free drink tickets, free bottled water and free breakfast daily....

The room was fine, the bathroom clean, bed comfortable, towels could be fluffier. My only complaint was the breakfast. It could use an upgrade. Same thing every day. Fresh fruit salad would be a nice addition. One day there was no milk - the kitchen had run out.

From the staff to the cleanliness of room to the location of hotel...all was on point. The only hiccup was it appeared to be understaffed at morning breakfast as they ran out of food and one had to wait on two of my three days. This would not affect my staying here, however.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
