I have stayed at the Little Eazy on a few occasions over the years. It is an EXCELLENT place to stay! Rick and Margaret are generous hosts, and all your needs will be provided for. Walking distance to Snug Harbor, Dba, Blue Nile, La Peniche, etc. on Frenchmen Street. Do yourself a favor and go to the Little Eazy and...

We spent a long weekend in Little Eazy exploring New Orleans cuisine and jazz. Little Eazy was a gem of a place to stay. The location can't be beat -- just blocks from the French Quarter and Frenchman Street both. The cottage had everything we needed, and Margaret had plenty of useful advice for our neighborhood. We'll definitely stay here...

This was the ideal place for our girl's getaway trip!! The cottage is very inviting and cozy. We really fell in love with it. We especially loved the private patio area and hot tub where we spent much of our time. The candles, tiki torches, strung lights, and a boom box to listen to music made it even better out...

First of all, let's get the negative out of the way. This is not truly 2 bedrooms. One bedroom, the one that has access to the bathroom, has no door between it and the living room. You have to walk through it to get to the bathroom, 2nd bedroom, a pretty little sitting area and the back patio with hot...

This was a delight. It was a fantastic spot for location and its hostess. Margaret and her assistant Nora are a wealth of information on getting you quickly settled and acclimatized to life in the “Big Eazy”. The cottage was neat, clean and well equipped – lots of fresh towels, cozy beds and an awesome patio and hot tub great...

My girlfriend and I stayed here for the first weekend of Carnival. Margaret (the proprietor) was an absolute delight. What a cool lady! She (and her assistant, whose name I forgot - sorry) went way out of her way to give us all kinds of local intelligence, which made our trip even better. For example, we wanted to do a...

I could not have asked for a better cottage, location and host. This little cottage exceeded my expectations by far, and I can't wait to return. It was nice to live like a local and your within walking distance of all the major attractions of the French Quarters, or the local vibe of Frenchman Street. Your literally all the way...

Lovely characterful cottage in New Orleans, you can stroll into the historic French quarter, and it is a shorter walk still to the wonderful music of Frenchmans Street, with it's fabulous clubs and bars. We'll never forget the Spotted Cat! Margaret and Rick are friendly and helpful hosts, and if you are into music, Margaret knows everything that is going...

Our stay in the Little Eazy was a big highlight of a long trip in the USA. This cute cottage was the perfect setting for my 40th birthday, complete with terrace and gorgeous hot-tub! Our hosts Margaret and Rick were welcoming, easy to get along with, non-fussy and relaxed. Plus they got involved in helping to make my birthday really...

Staying in Faubourg Marigny & Bywater

Neighbourhood Profile
Faubourg Marigny & Bywater
Nestled between the French Quarter and the Ninth Ward, the Faubourg Marigny & Bywater environs are largely residential. Of course, folks around here love to go out and have a good time as much as they do anywhere in NOLA. And if out-of-towners want to join in the festivities, well then so much the better! Home to some of the most revered live music venues in New Orleans, an eclectic gaggle of gourmand dining destinations, and a come-as-you-are vibe that’s as infectious as it is alluring, this is real deal New Orleans oozing with southern hospitality and the promise of a most epic night out. For endless opportunities to boogie, to admire row upon row of lovingly restored homes, and to escape the fray of the more touristic parts of town (but still live it up in grand style) head to Faubourg Marigny & Bywater.
