Great hotel, fantastic location. We stayed here for 2 nights and really enjoyed the fact that we were walking distance to everything. The hotel rooms are a good size, we had a room with a balcony, which we used several times. I was a little worried that there maybe street noise from being on Bourbon Street, but once the doors...

After an enjoyable four night stay at Four Points by Sheraton in Memphis in May 2016 where everything was just perfect, we were looking to forward to our upcoming stay at Four Points by Sheraton, French Quarter in New Orleans. We assumed we would receive the same high standard of accommodation and customer service as we did in Memphis. Sadly,...

Clean rooms and common areas. Well maintained antique building. Nice private courtyard with pool. great staff, unique building right in the heart of Bourbon Street. Good security. I felt safe even in the middle of Bourbon Street. We had a balcony room over looking Bourbon street. My first visit to New Orleans. I recommend to anyone wishing to fully experience...

It is clean, perfectly located on Bourbon Street, right in the middle of everything. It is only a short walk to everything. You can People watch, hear great music, go to Cafe Dumonde, take the ferry across the Mississippi, not to mention all of the awesome food and beverage choices within a very short walk! One of my fav's was...

To tell the truth, I was a bit apprehensive about booking my stay here based on so many mixed reviews. No stranger to travel to New Orleans, I was cautious of being directly *on* Bourbon St (and having to deal with the unpleasant staff so many have complained about). But I needn't have worried; my stay, while not completely flawless,...

I stayed here for business last fall, and had an upper floor room that overlook Bourbon Street. My room was quite nice...during the day. When the bars opened, it was like I was outside, on the street, though I was still inside my room with the windows closed. It was very loud, and I wasn't able to fall asleep until...

My wife had to spend one night on Bourbon St. So we chose this place. At first the bellman was helpful and courteous. After that things get real sketchy. We get into our room and some kids have 5 gallon buckets just bangin as hard and as fast as they could ,no rhythm just noise. Bellman suggested letting front desk...

We hosted a bachelorette party at the Four Points on Bourbon street and had an absolute BLAST! The location is just perfect for big groups because folks can go back to the room without disappearing for an hour. Bourbon street really smells, so this location is probably best for people who can handle to party vibe of the area and...

We had a balcony room on Burbon street to celebrate my husbands birthday. We had a blast, the food, music, dancing was all right here. Was fun to people watch from our balcony, and we brought some beads to throw. The bed was very comfortable, got a good night's sleep. They had ear plugs on the night stand, didn't need...

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
