The room itself was my favorite part! I love the "living room"! Having the bedroom in the back with a door is excellent for keeping the hallway noise down. There is a smart tv in the living room and the bedroom. The bed was very comfortable and I enjoyed the view from the bedroom. Some things I didn't like: No... More

Took my 18 year old daughter along with my 16 yr old daughter and her boyfriend on a graduation trip. Stayed 2 nights at the Courtyard. The rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Valet and check in was quick. The location was perfect. Kind of hard to find it if you are driving because of the construction... More

Decided to give the Courtyard a shot and so very glad I did. The room is spacious and well appointed with barn doors for privacy. The walls are thinner than other hotels and the location is smack in the quarter so loud neighbors will be audible. My room had a single window which faced an airgap of other windows but... More

This was my second stay at this Courtyard, both stays were for fun visits to the French Quarter, and both stays had me leaving a happy visitor. When you first get to the hotel it can be a bit confusing, as you have to take an elevator to the lobby. Once you get over that fact and you enter the... More

Very nice hotel, right on the edge of the French Quarter. Great location for restaurants and bars, two blocks from Bourbon Street. Near Acme Oyster Pub, one of New Orleans best restaurants. Food was excellent

Stayed here four days while visiting New Orleans. It's a haste to get to because of all of the construction, but they do have valet parking and were vertical attentive to take our bags and direct us to check-in. Check in went smoothly and the room was very roomy, and clean. The maid service were very slow to service the... More

We stayed at this hotel after attending a play at the Saenger. From the time we dropped our car off with the valet to the quick and easy check, we had great customer service. Glen Palmer greeted us warmly as we dropped off our car and Wendy checked us in quickly and answered all our questions. The location is perfect.... More

This is a great location, no doubt. Walk to the French Quarter, streetcar, etc. Really great breakfast/snack area with super helpful staff. The seating is fabulous off the lobby. They have a little balcony that looks out onto the street. Great for pictures! The staff was kind of indifferent to our stay except for Valet who were enthusiastic and helpful.... More

We did not have a good view from our room, so ask for a room overlooking the street, not what appeared to be a construction courtyard .... but the location was excellent! Easy walking all over the French Quarter. If you drive, your car will be kept at a garage not on the property -- so call at least 20... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
