French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.

The hotel is close to everything but it’s lacking updating. Upon check inshould of known it was going to be interesting. Booked a king bed but was told we booked a double, and no kings available. After talking back and forth I showed my booking confirmation to the clerk and

What a wonderful stay. What a wonderful world. The room was pretty, clean, and large with two queen beds. The pristine bathroom and toilet were separated from the sink. It overlooked a beautiful courtyard with trees and flowers. The hotel was across from the Louis Armstrong

I stayed here for a week during Mardi Gras. Price was high, but that is to be expected for the time of the year. The hotel is super nice and the room well a little small was very clean and in really good condition. The room comes with a fridge but no microwave. The court yard

From the time we checked in until the day we left everything was great. The breakfast has many choices and changes up some each day. All of the staff were great. The general manager Stan was always checking to ensure our stay was going good.

The hotel is conveniently located if you don’t have mobility issues. It is two blocks from a trolley stop, which can connect you to all parts of the city. Know however the trolley service is slow. There is a three block walk through the neighbourhood to Bourbon Street. If

My husband and I will will be coming here in Oct with our 2 children.....how safe is the area please
It is safe in the day time. There are many homeless people around. They are mostly harmless. Panhandlers will also try to sell stuff or ask for money. Ignore them. Watch out for the drunks. Keep on walking. Take Ubers or taxis or stay on the well-lit streets at night. We were uneasy in the evenings. Even a cop/policeman told us to take Uber back. Keep the children close to you at all times. Do not let them go off by themselves at night. Be smart and street-wise at all times. Be aware of your surroundings. Other than that, New Orleans is a lot of fun. I won’t mind returning.

Great answer by one of our previous guest ... Yes, it is buffet style with scrambled eggs, the breakfast meat changes but includes sausage and bacon. We also have potatoes and on certain days we have NOLA rice (secret recipe) then there is self service waffles, oatmeal, yogurt, cereals, apples, oranges, coffee, tea, and juice. But the best part is our ladies who prepare and attend the area. We look forward to being your host and hope you are our guest several nights and enjoy our offerings.
