I would probably never stay here again or refer to anybody. Sorry it might have just been bad luck for me that day. I just thought there was no communication from management to the employees. Not a bad place may had just not been my day here.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, clean and good/safe location. Within walking distance of the french quarter and all major sight seeing places. Within walking district to the streetcar also. Only complaints is thin walls, so can be loud and no fridge in room so we couldn't bring drinks or leftovers with us. Otherwise, I'd highly recommend it!

Stayed here for 4 nights.beds very comfortable. Hotel situated about 10 minutes from Bourbon street which meant it was quite quiet at nighttime. Everything was very clean. Reception staff very helpful especially Earl, when our taxi to take us to the airport didn't arrive.

Loved the charm of this hotel which is an old bank. Valet was very friendly as well as the front desk. The room was a good size and very clean. The beds could use some upgrading to get a better nights sleep.

We stayed at the whitney for 3 nights in October. The architecture is very pretty but that's about it. We experienced several problems while we stayed. They charge 32 dollars a night for valet and we called to get our car and they said it would be 15 minutes, it was nearly 45 minutes when we realized that the front...

Nice hotel within walking distance of all attractions in the area. New Orleans is a very noisy city though. Try your best to get sleep. The hotel staff can't fix that issue. The valet parking beats public oarking and the restaurant food and drinks are great!

We had a great stay!!! So much fun but the window looked out to a brick wall. No lighting but lamps so we couldn't see much at night. Really dime lighting made for a dark dingy feeling. Super friendly and accommodating staff. Staff bent over backwards to assure we had a great stay. Always ice cold water, news papers and vacation information in the lobby. Great restaurant recommendations. We ubered from the airport 33-55 $. You do not need a car in the city. Street car on one side of hotel. 2 blocks to French quarter and...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
