The hotel is (relatively) easy to find in the French Quarter. Reception is efficient and friendly and the bar staff very good. We were upgraded to a junior suite which was huge for the two of us. As the hotel is in an historic building...More
The Good: Le Richelieu is in a great part of the French Quarter. It was really easy to get everywhere and further out enough to not feel like you are in the middle of it all. I slept well and was comfortable in the room....More

Check in was a breeze, and where else can you find a 1 PM check out? That is impressive and convenient. The location was great. We were close to Bourbon St., the river, and Frenchmen St. All were within easy walking distance. If you don't...More
A great place near to lots of the French Quarter attractions. We arrived a little earlier than expected and the was no trouble leaving the luggage. The restaurant and little bar area were quaint and the staff very friendly.

Le Richelieu In The French Quarter Hotel New Orleans
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the
Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
