As an IHG Spire Elite member, I had read negative reviews before staying and had contemplated switching hotels. I did not and was pleased with everything. The area is bustling and can be loud even staying on the 11th floor. I would stay at the same hotel again without hesitation.

We had a great stay at this property, we loved the updated rooms and Easy access to Bourbon Street and street cars. The double shower method is genius, it saves up so much time getting ready. Rosie a Elfer is amazing!!!! Thank you so much for your wonderful customer service!!!!

Great hotel and location, corner of Canal and Bourbon. Nice clean room, good amenities, but would be nice to have small refrigerator in room. Only complaint would be the mysterious noise at night. Sounded like thunder every 10 seconds or so. Didn't notice it during the day. Otherwise a great hotel.

Excellent hotel in perfect location. Porterage of our bags was very slow. Was a little noisy. Good restaurant. Super breakfast, especially the French toast, covered with fruit and local sugar cane syrup. Definitely recommend.

We stayed 3 nights here. It is on the corner of Canal and Bourbon and close to everything. Staff was very pleasant and accommodating. The room was large and clean, with nice bedding. It didn't have all the bells and whistles that some of the more expensive hotels have, but it has everything you need and at a very good...

I checked in at 3:45 and there were still multiple laundry carts on my floor and rows of dirty laundry on the throughput the corridors. It remained that way well past 6pm. The valet parking is horrific! I called and requested my vehicle at 5:45 am went down at 6am and still the car had not been brought around. I...

The hotel is on the corner of Canal and Bourbon which makes it the perfect location. It has a beautiful lobby and very helpful staff. My only disappointments were fairly minor. There was a bit of mold/mold stains in the grout in the shower. The only reason I noticed was it is a eye level. The other was the bed....

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
