They call the box -like things in the rooms " coolers " but they aren't .......they are just insulated containers that are FAKE fridges ! It is very hard to understand this ......a city in Louisiana doesn't have fridges in the hotel rooms ? The unhelpful hotel person told me that if I had " medications " they would provide...

This is not your typical hotel. Certain elevators go certain places, certain floors only accessible from certain floors. The elevators don't have buttons inside, but outside. If you're going to be at the hotel for a convention, I recommend arriving the night before and just walking around for an hour to get the lay of the land. The rooms were...

We stayed on the 10th floor, there is a funky elevator system but there is staff there to help. This a very modern hotel with beautiful lobby and other public spaces. Everything is clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. Our room was comfortable, especially the beds and we slept well. ( great blackout curtains) It is also very...

I was here for the AAOHN conference. Check in was a breeze. My room was 15-51 and it was very clean, nice and had a view of the stadium. The only downside of my entire trip was it ended too soon! The hotel was in walking distance of some great restaurants.

The hotel was very clean and the food was excellent. It was a little far from the French quarter and required some additional transportation costs. I would return to the hotel. I would encourage people to travel to New Orleans for the music and food

Great rooms, facilities and breakfast. The staff is extra friendly and professional. Location is walking distance to many attractions such as the French quarter. There are many nice bars and restaurants right near the hotel.

I stayed in the hotel for 2 nights in April during my business trip. The only reason I picked this hotel rather than others is simply because it is the closest one to my business partner's office. If you are in New Orleans for holidays, there are many other better alternatives with shorter distance to tourist attractions. The property itself...

Hyatt NOLA-- lobby very noisy. Unusual set up lobby on lowest floor but must take two escalators to get there. Carpet on 7 th floor needs relaxing. Could not have afforded to stay here if not given conference rate. Room was adequate. Not impressive

I really enjoyed my meeting at Hyatt Regencyclopedia utility I discovered my car charger stolen while using the valet service. For forty dollars a night I expect more from the employees. Speaking with the valets, they showed no concern for the missing charger.

The Hyatt is very modern feeling with clean, spacious rooms. Great dining options are close by and for the fit and adventurous, you can walk pretty much anywhere. The staff are all very friendly and the hotel offers all the amenities you would expect for a hotel of its size. The room rate was also very competitive.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
