Please scroll down for all of my pros on this property. I must start with two very significant challenges that I experienced during my recent stay here at the Saint. The door to my room would not secure without literally slamming it shut. We learned this on the first night of our stay when I leaned to the door to...

We love New Orleans and after staying at the Saint on our last visit, we immediately booked it for this trip! We love the rooms, the sexy decor, the location (quick walk to most things in the French Quarter), the staff, and even the classic old movies playing in the elevators! The staff are all very friendly and courteous! One...

We stayed at The Saint for a reunion/birthday celebration because the price was good and it was near the French Quarter. The staff was fabulous...very friendly and very helpful. Our room was large and well-appointed, with comfortable beds and a Kuerig for coffee. The bathroom was large and modern with a nice shower. The ceilings were easily 15 feet tall...

My husband and I just returned from a 3 day visit to New Orleans. This was our 5th trip. Love the city, people and food! We always visit the World War 2 Museum!! Very educational. They opened a new wing The Road To Tokyo. As usual it is wonderful. We both had family that served in WW2 and Korean wars...

The hotel was nice and the service was attentive. Modern decor and great location close to the French Quarter. Rooms on Canal Street are loud, but not much to be done about that. The only reason for 4 stars out of 5 was the bar. We went in for a drink before dinner on a Saturday night and it was...

At first, the hotel staff seems disorganized, but you just have to click into their rhythm and it all falls into place. The location is great for the French Quarter, but you are at one of the edges, so you don't get caught up with all the drama and noise. You can pop in and out of the quarter easily....

We've had good experiences in the Autograph Hotels because we like the mix of old and new and they're not your usual and predictable hotel. At our stay here (4 nights) we were able to be upgraded to a suite for 3 of the nights (the regular room was beautiful too). If you can get a suite, you will be...

My wife and I took a "getaway" trip to do some sightseeing, and have fine cajun food. Saint was the perfect place! Everyone at the hotel was VERY cordial and helpful with suggestions and even bookings for such things as boat ride on the Mississippi and Bayou tours, etc. They could't have been more hospitable! Upon leaving, i realized that...

this place is really great, close to the Quarter, right on Canal St. comfortable rooms, great bar on the Lobby level, heard some really good Jazz. Hope to stay there again. We had really surprising entertainment on our last night, Jazz and a Burlesque show. Our understanding is there is entertainment like this Tuesdays and Fridays. do not include children...

We really enjoyed our stay at The Saint. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and the reception area was awesome. The room was small but very clean. I recommend staying on an upper floor facing the street as there is always something happening down below. We really liked the location of the hotel. You are just minutes away from the...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
