Love this hotel. The hotel staff is so friendly. We arrived on a Wednesday evening. Check in went really fast. Rooms are average size. But the bathroom is on the larger size. We loved staying in this clean, well maintained hotel. Also loved the bathrobe:-)...More
This place was amazing. Crazy cool lobby and saints/sinners theme. Room was normal sized, which is reportedly big for New Orleans. Everything was clean, staff was great. Overall awesome experience. I want to check out their other locations!
This hotel is close to Bourbon Street and right on Canal Street offering you the ability to walk or ride.
The staff is super friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice but the carpet was dirty. Any hotel in the area wont be perfect though...More

Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts
District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.

There is valet parking available, which can be a bit pricey. Honestly, if you don't have to have a car with you, I wouldn't. The hotel is located about two blocks from Bourbon Street (about a 5 min walk, if that) and also very close to other tourist spots (like Jackson Square, Garden District, etc.) You can always uber/lyft to places for a cheaper price than the valet parking price.
