Pros: Marriott points On Canal and close to Bourbon Very fast internet that worked throughout the hotel Cool vibe A robe (yes I like it in a Hotel lol) Cons: No movies available at all Fridge really tiny Terrible terrible linens Super flimsy towels AC numbers are meaningless.. From the moment we pulled up front for valet the staff was unbelievably nice and helpful. Not to mention this was one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed out in my life. Totally different scene then anywheres else. Nice comfortable beds. Nice size rooms. Wish breakfast would come with it, the buffet is kind of expensive in the morning.

We met up with other couples for a week there. Very positive experience, great room and service. Cocktail bar but servers kept changing minds daily about happy hour. Only negative would be halls are dimly lit and rugs need to be cleaned also in the lobby and bar area, very stained. Front desk people friendly and helpful.

We stayed at this hotel for one night after we got back from our cruise to Mexico. Let me just say that the staff is excellent. They're very friendly & helpful. The hotel itself is beautiful. The beds are very comfortable. This hotel is in walking distance to a lot of great restaurants & bourbon street. I can't wait to...

I am Marrotte. Gold so that tells you I Stay at lots of hotels world wide, The Saint in New Orleans was hands down one of my most fun stays. First the breakfast was just ok, but being gold it did not cost so it was great at the price but the staff was outstanding our waitress pulled up a...

Upon check-in I got bumped and showed up late and Aramis, made sure I had my key and swiftly explained the private elevator operation added security for guest loved it. The elevators had old movies on and the misses and I would not want out , lol. Rooms were amazing, some street noise but we aren't in Kansas anymore, lol....

The Saint is in a perfect location with easy walking access to the French Quarter. The staff is exceedingly friendly. The lobby and room design are consistent with the boutique hotel aesthetic, some fun furniture and oversized mirrors. However once ensconced in the comfortably sized room we noted a couple of things that disappoint: the mattresses aren't as comfortable as...

Okay, I'm going to be perfectly honest, I would not feel comfortable bringing kids here or probably my parents either. This property is more of a couples getaway than a family friendly hotel. The property itself is well maintained. The room was extremely clean, quiet (something that you do not always get in a French Quarter Hotel) and well appointed....

I stayed at this hotel and although I really liked the rooms and the vibe of the hotel, I think some parts of the property are lacking. The decor and theme was cool and modern. The hallways are a little dark though so be careful when coming back from a crazy night on the town. There wasn't really an obvious...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
