I actually got in town the night before and stayed at a sister property. I didn't think it could get any better, but was pleasantly surprised that my room was ready quite early. I expected to drop off my bags and comeback later. The early...More

What a Jewel in the French Quarter! Love this hotel! The building is 110 years old and has been updated with a modern look while still keeping the old charm of New Orleans. Our room on the 7th floor was just beautiful. Clean, quite and...More
Okay, I fell in LOVE with this hotel! While booking our trip to NOLA, we were looking for a Marriott so that we could use my fiancee's Marriott gift card. We stumbled upon this place and was very intrigued by the whole "saints and sinners"...More
This is a "quirky" hotel that is Well placed for the French Quarter, without being on the doorstep of Bourbon Street (which for me was a plus!). The bedroom "styling" was not to my liking, that said it came with all the amenities of a...More
Very expensive over the weekend due to upcharges during the French Quarter Festival ($450+ night) - overall charge for 5 nights was $1700. The staff was great...met "French Toast" at check-in; the next several days we were greeted by "Special K." It was nice to...More
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts
District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.

There is valet parking available, which can be a bit pricey. Honestly, if you don't have to have a car with you, I wouldn't. The hotel is located about two blocks from Bourbon Street (about a 5 min walk, if that) and also very close to other tourist spots (like Jackson Square, Garden District, etc.) You can always uber/lyft to places for a cheaper price than the valet parking price.
